Acesso em: .https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18799It was investigated if university students of various areas of knowledge show selfreports of orthorexic behaviors and if there is any difference between genders and between groups. Additionally, possible correlations between orthorexic self-reports, non-healthy eating self-rules, behavioral stiffness related to the rule following and distortion of body self-image were investigated. 246 students participated; 73 men and 106 women with orthorexic self-reports, and 37 men and 30 women without orthorexic self-reports. The research was made in five steps. In Step 1 the personal data form was applied, in Step 2 the Orto-15 questionnaire, in Step 3 the Body Shape Questionnaire, in Step 4 the Stiffness Scale and in Step 5 the Eating Rules Form. 178 participants showed orthorexic self-reports. Significative difference was found between genders when it was related to orthorexic self-reports. Women are 1,83 times more likely to develop orthorexic self-reports than men. Relations between orthorexic self-reports, distortion of body self-image, behavioral stiffness related to the rule following and non-healthy eating self-rules weren’t found. However, there was a relation between genders and distortion of body self-image.Acesso AbertoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Behavioral stiffnessEating self-rulesOrtorexiaRigidez comportamentalUniversity studentsCorrelações entre ortorexia nervosa, autorregras, rigidez comportamental e autoimagem corporalDissertaçãoCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::NUTRICAOProcessos Comportamentais BásicosNEUROCIÊNCIAS E COMPORTAMENTO
