Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/3594This thesis work in Basic Education and Teacher has as object of research the relationship between politics and external evaluation of teaching for basic education in the city of Belém. The overall goal is to analyze the model of educational evaluation, established by government and it’s relationship with the teaching work of the lower grades of elementary school in the city of Belém, with an emphasis on classes that undergo “Prova Brasil”. The methodology used was the literature and case study, understanding that this is in line with the recognition that the problem of the proposed research is of specificity in Municipal Educational Belém also noteworthy is the comparison of interviews with teachers, allowing joint analysis of the following categories: external evaluations, regulatory and educational teaching.
