For that, the method of direct and indirect study was adopted, constituting the monitoring of the beach in question, presented through images, carrying out topographic surveys and a bibliographic survey was also carried out, the impacts caused by the effect of the urbanization in the coastal ecosystem and the effect of erosion on this environment. For data analysis, sediment analysis and erosion indicators were carried out, so the results of the analyzes indicated that Murubira beach shows many exact erosion events, derived from natural phenomena and unplanned actions of urban development. The research data also revealed the importance of the insertion of the Military Firefighter in the face of mitigating the erosion problem, not only on Murubira beach, but also on all beaches on Ilha de Mosqueiro. In addition, there was a shortage of technical documents, preventive guidelines and recovery and erosion prevention in this region.
