The explicit teaching of syllable description has generated an immediate emergence of recombinative reading of new syllables and words. Caregiver training has been widely used in the intervention of people with different types of behavioral demand and with economy of studies on training for the application of teaching procedures of basic reading repertoires. Two Studies were carried out and the objective of Study 1 was to apply in children with learning disorders (ADHD) a reading teaching procedure that has demonstrated efficiency in establishing textual reading of teaching and recombined syllables as prerequisites for textual reading and with word comprehension in blind and visually impaired individuals. The participants were three children aged between nine and 11 years enrolled in public schools in Belém - PA. The general procedure consisted of a pre-test, three stages containing teaching phases of conditional discriminations and tests of textual reading of syllables, textual reading and word comprehension, copying and dictation. The results protect the presentation of 100% in the description and textual reading of all the syllables after re-exposure and revision of the teaching phases in Phase I and partial emergence of the performances tested in Phase 2. The objective of Study 2 was to program and implement a training for caregivers apply the Study 1 design to children with learning disabilities. A 40-year-old caregiver and an eight-year-old daughter enrolled in a public school in Belém - PA participated. The training procedure consists of three phases formed by teaching and theoretical test of the application of the procedure, role playing and partial application of the procedure in the child.
