Headed metallic connectors enable force transfer between steel and concrete and are used when bars are not feasible. Although their behavior in structural connections, such as beam-column joints, has been widely studied, the concrete cone resistance considering surface reinforcement remains insuAiciently investigated. This study evaluates the pullout resistance of embedded connectors under diAerent bending moments and analyzes the influence of flexural reinforcement acting as surface reinforcement outside the projected failure cone. An experimental program was conducted with 16 connectors in two series of slender reinforced concrete elements (700×200×3000 mm), with an embedment depth of 110 mm and concrete compressive strength of 30 MPa. The results were compared with data from the literature for reinforcement ratios of 0.81% and 1.34%.
