The research aimed to analyze the contributions produced in the process, they designed for resistance and social organization by the residents of that place. We use primarily journalistic sources and interviews with leaders. During the eighties, political events shook the country, promoted by the return of the crowds to the squares and put in a headline set of social demands, among which the urban reform.
