Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/17908From an investigation of the Cabocla Herondina entity in the context of Tambor de Mina, through an autoethnographic approach, I connect symbols of their clothing and performance from memory, oral history and field experience. The research seeks to understand how the visual and performative elements associated with the figure of the cabocla, which are adorned with meanings, can construct narratives inside and outside the terreiro. By articulating my experience in Mina rituals with the symbolic study of clothing and performance, I propose an analysis of imagetic and interdisciplinary intersections, culminating in an Ethnophotographic Performance essay, which records and visually interprets the symbolism and aesthetics that involve cabocla Herondina, allowing a reflection on the relationship between body, clothing and scenic expression in the sacred space of Tambor de Mina, through the combination of text and image.
