It deals with the political theme and management of basic education financing, with the objective of analyzing the impact of the Direct Money in Schools Program (PDDE) in municipal schools in the city of Barcarena-PA and the contributions of CECAMPE Norte, for the development of the Program in the Municipality. The approach to the normative and historical aspects related to the Program, as well as the situational diagnosis of the municipality within the scope of the PDDE, was based on a qualitative methodology that included bibliographic and documentary research and semi-structured interviews. This methodology allowed in-depth analyses of various sources and provided a broad understanding of the implementation and impacts of the program in Barcarena. In the application of historical dialectical materialism, the categories of historicity, contradiction and state were used to interpret the local context and the implications of public policies in the municipality, with the aim of critically reflecting on the social and educational changes taking place within the scope of public education.. The theoretical corpus, in addition to its connection with the research object, in its categories of right to education, financing, policy and management of basic education, is based on texts by authors in the critical field, including academic productions carried out by researchers from the northern region of the country, given that the locus of the research is part of this region. The results of the research reveal the challenges faced by municipal schools in Barcarena-PA in managing PDDE resources, highlighting issues such as insufficient resources, the need for technical training of school managers and structural constraints for the full implementation of the program. The study also highlights the essential role of CECAMPE Norte in supporting training and monitoring actions, which contributes to greater efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources and management of education. The dissertation concludes that although PDDE represents an important policy to promote equity and improve the conditions of school infrastructure, its effectiveness depends on closer coordination between the various actors involved, including school principals, local communities and technical support agencies such as CECAMPE Norte.
