Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/17847The research adopts the "multipaper" format and analyzes governance in participatory public management, focusing on the decentralization of public education policies, especially the PDDE Básico program and to the PIEC policy. The methodology used included documentary studies, bibliographic analysis of CAPES journals and semi-structured interviews in five schools (municipal and state, urban and rural areas), with the participation of twelve interviewees. Divided into three chapters, it investigated: 1) The importance of participatory management to strengthen decentralization in the PDDE Básico program and to the PIEC policy; 2) The expansion of internet access and the use of technology in basic education and; 3) The challenges in implementing these programs in Garrafão do Norte-PA. The results indicate that the creation of new UEx and the autonomy of schools are essential for efficient management aligned with educational needs.
