The use of online devices, instant connection, computational algorithms, big data and artificial intelligence in the world of work, which, like all disruptive innovations, gave rise to the restructuring of the previous model. Among the relevant changes in the way of working, platform companies that offer crowdwork jobs draw attention to the number of workers they recruit, even if they do not recognize the existence of formal employees. The present paper seeks to understand what it is and what they do as crowdworkers, as well as whether the work performed by them fits into the concept of decent work promoted by the International Labor Organization. In conclusion, it is necessary to revisit the theory of Labor Law to include a new legal category between autonomous and subordinate work.
