Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direito.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/6743This study examines the role of judicial powers in the state of Para in addressing the issues concerning the major impacts socio-environmental considered not just those who cause harm strictly ecological but also social in nature. From the study of emblematic cases, chosen because they represent situations of socioenvironmental bias, we measured the relation between the judicial role and model of economic development based on intensive exploitation of natural resources, but susceptible sequels with ecological and social.
