The research problem stems from the perception that, in certain Amazonian trans experiences, gender transition cannot be understood separately from the creative process, affective networks, and ways of inhabiting the city. In this context, the objective is to conceptualize trans-themonization both as an operative concept and as a strategy for the poetic observation of the metamorphoses in the creative process of Themônias undergoing gender transition. The hypothesis advanced is that, when gender transition takes place as it is shaped by the Themônias Cultural Movement, it not only alters the subject’s self perception, but also reorganizes ways of creating, performing, relating, and existing within the territory. Methodologically, the research combines a historical reconstruction of the movement, in-depth interviews with Flores Astrais, Coytada, and Desirée LoBianco, and an embodied analysis of my own creative process, employing poetic observation as an analytical procedure. The results indicate that the movement functions as an ecosystem of care, resistance, and creation, directly influencing the metamorphoses of the creative process of the trans bodies that are part of it. As a contribution, the dissertation names and develops trans-themonization as a situated analytical tool, proposes an embodied way of reading these trajectories, and places the Amazonian trans-themônia experience within the debate on creative process, queer ecology, and knowledge production, refusing universalizing and cis-centered readings.Acesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ThemôniasTrânsito de gêneroProcesso criativoEcologia queerTrans themonizaçãoGender transitionCreative processQueer ecologyTrans themonizationTrans-Themonização: metamorfoses do processo criativo de Themônias em trânsito de gêneroTeseCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::ARTESPOÉTICAS E PROCESSOS DE ATUAÇÃO EM ARTESARTES
