Among the French authors who have published novels serials in this newspaper highlighted Alexandre Dumas pai, Ponson du Terrail and Xavier de Montépin. Moreover, it seeks to demonstrate the dynamic movement of novels serialstitled Blanche de Beaulieu (Alexandre Dumas pai), A Fada D‟Auteuil (Ponson du Terrail) and O médico dos pobres (Xavier de Montépin) in the newspaper O Liberal do Para during aunique period in Belem, the moment the Belle Epoque paraense, where they were observed several changes in the cultural, economic and urban Para nineteenth century.
