To this end, participants previously classified as flexible and inflexible, based on your answers to a scale of rigidity, were exposed to the three experimental manipulations. In experiment 1. the following instruction discrepant was preceded by a differential, building history in experiment 2, the following statement was preceded by discrepant, short vs. long histories, exposure to the corresponding instructions and in the following statement experiment 3, discrepant produced loss of reinforcing capability requirements. To this end, three experiments. In the first step all experiments, on average, 183 University were invited to respond to a scale of rigidity to identify self-report indicative of flexible behavior patterns and inflexible. In the second step, the task in all experiments, was pointing in sequence to compare objects according cm the model presented on the screen of a microcomputer. In experiment 1 four participants classified as flexible and four as inflexible were invited to participate in the second step in the laboratory. Stages 1 and 2 were initiated by submission of an arrangement of stimuli, and by presenting the instruction discrepant, respectively. In experiment 2 four participants ranked inflexible and four ranked flexible were assigned to two conditions (80 condition and condition 320). Each condition consisted of five phases. Phase 1 was started with a minimum instruction, the phases 2 and 4 were initiated with a corresponding statement and the phases 3 and 5 with an instruction discrepant of contingencies. The conditions they differed on the number of maximum reinforcements obtained in phase 2. In experiment 3 eleven participants six classified as flexible and five classified as inflexible were exposed to three phases. Stages 1, 2 and 3 were initiated with a minimum, the corresponding statement and instruction discrepant, respectively.
