Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18479This dissertation presents the history of Velha Jacundá worked through “Cores do Açaí”, a project created with students from Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Profa. Maria da Glória Rodrigues Paixão and extended to the Rosália Correia and Teotônio Apinagés schools in Jacundá/PA. The objective is to learn about the memory of the submerged city through an artistic experiment with açaí, considering the culture in which the students are part of. For this, I used some of the theories of the following authors: Argan (1998), Barbosa (1994) and (2014), Bosi (1994) and Buoro (2002), which cover the themes that form the core of this work, since I found In my daily practice as an Art teacher in public schools, many students do not know the history of the place where they live. I used a qualitative approach focusing on action research. Data collection was carried out through field research, questionnaires with mixed questions, interviews, photographs, reports and videos. In artistic production, I used açaí as the main element for the production of paints and the color palette, in order to paint images copied from old photographs on canvas. The results obtained demonstrate the efficiency of artistic pedagogical interventions, highlighting the importance of memory work within Art teaching and the possible relationships built with local and regional culture.
