Thus, a tool was selected and a case study was applied to assess the possibilities of this gain. During the research, the considerations made by a psychopedagogue who followed the intervention process and evaluated the changes observed at the end of the process were used as an evaluation parameter. Thus, it was observed that the use of educational software as a teaching tool, enabled a gain in the development of motor coordination and a sense of laterality, leading to the conclusion that it can help in the literacy process of children with down syndrome.Acesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Síndrome de DownSoftwares educacionaisDesenvolvimento motor finoDown syndromeEducational softwareFine motor developmentSoftware educacional como ferramenta para o desenvolvimento motor fino em crianças com síndrome de DownDissertaçãoCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::CIENCIA DA COMPUTACAO::METODOLOGIA E TECNICAS DA COMPUTACAO::ENGENHARIA DE SOFTWARECNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::TOPICOS ESPECIFICOS DE EDUCACAO::EDUCACAO ESPECIALDESENVOLVIMENTO DE SISTEMASCOMPUTAÇÃO APLICADA
