Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18027This dissertation, developed within the scope of the Professional Master’s Program in History Teaching at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), investigates the potentialities and challenges of implementing intersectional and anti-racist pedagogical practices in full-time high school education. The research combines curricular analysis, theoretical-methodological reflection, and pedagogical practice, using documentaries as resources for historical and visual literacy. The study was conducted at E.E.E.F.M. Professora Placídia Cardoso, located in the Jurunas neighborhood in Belém, Pará, and involved the application of questionnaires, classroom observations, and focus groups with students, as well as a survey with History teachers about their perceptions and experiences regarding the use of documentaries in history teaching. Among the audiovisual resources employed, the documentaries “De que cor eu sou? O lugar da menina negra no espaço escolar” (2021) and “Mulheres Negras: Projetos de Mundo” (2016) stand out, as they enabled critical reflection on the intersections of race, gender, and class in History education.
