Based on these documents, the concept of Sustainable Development is consecrated as the great focus of this century, together with the eradication of poverty. Based on the need to know and study the definitions, Principles and environmental laws in schools, and the lack of teaching material related to the subject in this space, it was the proposal to create this resource, provided that it is easy to understand, to be used in an interdisciplinary way. The starting point for reaching the proposed goal was the application of dichotomous questionnaires in schools of public basic education and vocational education in Belém (Pará). Then, a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the collected data was carried out with the help of theoretical references related to the environmental theme. During the research it was verified that a great part of students and teachers do not know the basic notions of environmental law nor the structure and functioning of SISNAMA, however they showed interest and curiosity in learning about the subject, especially when the pilot of the primer was presented with notions environmental law in a simplified form.
