With that the organizations have been seeking to add value to their product or process or to meet their needs through out innovation. This article seeks to identify in a concise manner the importance of networking for innovation diffusion, as well to demonstrate the current structure of the diffusion network of BRS, an açaí seed developed by EMBRAPA Amazônia Oriental. The innovation diffusion process occurs in agriculture through institutional networks and local clusters.
