Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18279This doctoral thesis is entitled "The actions of public policies through the ICMS Verde and the engagement of fishermen benefiting from the Maracanã Marine Resex in the Pará coastal zone (2000 - 2020): perspectives for sustainable territorial development". In this study, the public policy actions implemented in the Maracanã Marine Resex, as well as in the 11 (eleven) Extractive Reserves located in the Paraense Coastal Zone, from 2000 to 2020, were analyzed. To conduct the research, both primary and secondary data were used, obtained through bibliographical research and consultation of documents from state institutions, such as ICMBio reports, minutes of meetings of the Deliberative Council, as well as field research carried out at the Association of Users of the Maracanã Marine Extractive Reserve (AUREMAR). Furthermore, this data was collected in order to specify the public policies of the Green ICMS and the engagement of beneficiary fishermen in the meetings of the Deliberative Council. This study discusses the term territorial development and provides quantitative and qualitative data. To measure the quantitative data, the Green ICMS provided by the State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability (SEMAS) was used to guide the environmental preservation established in the conservation unit under study.
