This paper presents a guide of recommendations to guide developers in the process of specifying educational software for women, thus facilitating the gathering of requirements for this audience. The guide was created based on the Design Thinking approach and, through Empathy, used a technique based on Personas through a case study of self-employed women from the Tucuruí Lake Region.
