It is based on experience of a qualitative nature that searches to analyze historically the Movement of Women of the Northeast State of Pará (MMNEPA) and their role as social agents. This study takes into account: the processes responsible for the socialization of women farmers and their insertion into this process; how women influence the socialization of one another and does this reflect on the continuation of the movement; how does the movement socialize all men participating there and how do these men influence the socialization of the women in the movement. For the collection of data, I used principally the documentary study which was produced by the very MMNEPA; direct and participative observation and interviews. The observation took place during the period from January 2007 to January 2008 and the interviews from October 2007 to January 2008.
