To this end, the objective of this research was to analyze how the valorization and specification of territorial assets, in the macrozone of the municipality of Redenção/PA, can contribute to local development on a sustainable basis, considering the historical process of producing the territory linked to the arrangements and public territorial development policies and the proposition, through an action plan, of sustainable local development strategies in their multiple dimensions. To this end, due to the qualitative multidisciplinary approach, the research took as its empirical context the territory of the macrozone of environmental valorization in the municipality of Redenção, in the State of Pará; it was decided to associate research in bibliographic and documentary sources followed by a case study of the value chains of socio-biodiversity products developed in the form of a local productive arrangement with the potential to promote local development based on the content analysis technique at the territorial scale of the search. As a result, there was an association of territorial assets and resources from the environmental valorization macrozone of Redenção-PA, together with dynamic and strategic mechanisms of local territorial governance based on the unique combination of assets, resources and local expectations of the territory. As well as, evidence of the process of valorization and specification of territorial assets present in the environmental valorization macrozone of Redenção-PA, and its relationship with the construction of the territory based on the highlights of the territorial assets and the local productive arrangements present.
