The locus of our work took place at Escola Municipal do Ensino Fundamental Prof. Gabriel Lage da Silva, located in the Parque União Residential Complex, in the Tapana neighborhood, in Belém do Pará. This is an institution, linked to the Municipal Department of Teaching Education - SEMEC - which currently serves the community in four shifts: morning; intermediary; afternoon and evening, in this one, with students from the EJAI modality (Teaching Young People, Adults and Elderly). We assume that reflection on our life and academic trajectory can help us in relation to our teaching practice, as Art teachers and, here, specifically, as teachers in the area of music.
