And to meet the growing demand for the fruit, the species went from collecting extraction to domestication, and subsequently went through a process of selecting genetic material for the creation of cultivars adapted to terra firma and which produce in the off-season. Cultivation on land in a polycultural system can diversify the farmer's income. Thus, this research aimed to carry out a diagnosis of agroforestry systems (SAF) with açaizeiro on land, in order to contribute with information for the improvement in the management of these systems in the municipality of Abaetetuba - PA. The methodology used in the development of the research was the case study and the qualitative approach. SAFs were characterized with açaizeiro on land developed with and without the support of local technical assistance. And from the information collected in the field, didactic material was elaborated to systematize the local knowledge about the SAF implantation with açaizeiro on dry land, and a technical note to subsidize the technical assistance and the local managers about the peculiarities of these productive systems in the municipality to contribute with local development.
