Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18057The Personalized System of Instruction (PSI) serves as an applied method, potentially making significant contributions to Teacher Training to enhance the efficiency of the teachinglearning process for students. This research evaluated the effectiveness of Teacher Training on PSI at a public state school in Belém (PA). The methodology was structured in five stages: 1) theoretical-conceptual classes on the basic principles of Behavior Analysis, 2) behavioral principles and scientific reports on the application of PSI, 3) development of lesson planning on a subject theme, based on PSI, followed by an evaluation of the planning according to the adopted script; 4) presentation of results and feedback on the Pre and Post-tests and lesson planning; and 5) evaluation of the training by the participants. The training lasted approximately 12 hours, distributed across four sessions, corresponding to the five stages, all held in the morning. The analysis of results was carried out by comparing the absolute number and percentage of correct answers in the pre and post-tests of each participant, comparing the data among participants. The results indicated an increase in teachers' repertoire regarding behavior analysis and PSI, as well as a positive evaluation of the training by the teachers.
