In Brazil, one of the relevant focuses for this type of action is related to the use of technologies in education. The instrumentalization of educators and students becomes necessary, as it helps in the dissemination of environmental issues linked to technology as a support in education. In this way, this work presents the construction of artifacts to support the practices of using geotechnologies in the scope of Environmental Education, analyzing the importance of its use by the student. The methods applied involve the participation of students between 13 and 15 years old, from the “Escola da Vida” program of the Military Fire Brigade of the State of Pará, in addition to the analysis of the Pedagogical Political Project and the associated theoretical framework. The results indicated that the perceptions about the environment were expanded, from the use of geotechnology (Google Earth), in which the student started to learn specificities not previously acquired, improving their perception of risks and disasters.
