Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18769Currently, the Brazilian Amazon has been suffering significant increases in the number of fires, demanding from environmental policies a more effective protection in defense of the deforestation of the Amazon Forest. In this sense, this proposal seeks to monitor the space-temporal distribution of fire records, as well as implement actions that contribute to the protection of forest fires in the Pará’s Amazon. Only actions to respond to forest fires are not able to reduce the loss of the Amazon biome, as it makes burning in vegetation continue to be an environmental problem. Thus, the question of this study is: How will the space -temporal monitoring of hotspots and forest fire protection actions reduce hotspots in the 15 Integrated Firefighter Regions? The data recorded from remote sensing via satellite were analyzed by the platform “BDQueimadas” from INPE and the “PF-SCCON” platform from planetary contention, which was used for monitoring and mapping applications of environmental data. “TerraView” and “TerraAmazon” software were used to record vegetation movement and georeferencing the forest fire event at a given location and time; “GIS TerraView”, to perform vector data processing to create thematic maps; and “QSIG”, which was used to develop the mapping projects and cartographic coordinates of forest fire occurrences. At the end of the development of this work, the main technical-scientific contributions were: i. Mapping the spatio-temporal distribution of forest fire records in the Pará’s Amazon; ii. The integration of the Pará Military Fire Brigade in the National Civil Defense and Protection System regarding risk and disaster actions of forest fires in Pará and iii.
