Dissertação (Mestrado em Direito) - Instituto de Ciências Jurídicas, Universidade Federal do Pará, Belém, 2025. Disponível em: https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18114. Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18114The work discusses the right to free, prior and informed consultation from the perspective of the Akrãtikatêjê People, who live in the Mãe Maria Indigenous Reserve (RIMM), in the current municipality of Bom Jesus do Tocantins, Southeast region of the State of Pará. In the condition as a Xerente person, lawyer and activist in Indigenous Rights, I dialogue with relatives, Akrãtikatêjê leaders, from where the native categories of analysis emerge. Bibliographical research concerning the topic, the problematization of national indigenous legislation and international legal frameworks are part of the methodology, complemented by the discussion of protocols constructed by the Munduruku, Juruna peoples, Indigenous Peoples and Communities of Rio Negro, Peoples of the Xingu Indigenous Territory, Wajãpi and the Mbyá Guarani, who help in understanding the importance of this instrument for the effectiveness of Indigenous Rights. This dissertation proposal is, therefore, part of the set of developments carried out by indigenous people in the area of law, which proposes new theoretical and legal frameworks in relations with indigenous peoples in Brazil. Starting from the saga of struggle and resistance of the Akrãtikatêjê People, I intend to show how the leaders of this people, especially Cacique Katia Tonkryre (Katia Silene Valdenilson) have been leading the disputes to guarantee land and good living in RIMM in the face of compulsory removals, violence and denial of rights.Acesso AbertoAttribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/4.0/Direito à consultaPovo AkrãtikatêjêAutodeterminaçãoRight to consultationAkrãtikatêjê peopleSelf-determination“O território somos todos nós”: os Akrãtikatêjê e o direito à consulta livre, prévia e informadaDissertaçãoCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::DIREITOESTUDOS CRÍTICOS DO DIREITODIREITOS HUMANOS
