It is important to analyze the role of the government, that should be the radiator of social protection, but in fact, leaves the Military Police at the whim of the influence of the economic strength of large landowners, who often use violence as a way to maintain the established structures. It was observed that the Military Police acts essentially as an instrument of force, often being at the service of landowners elites who, through violence, perpetuate a segregational production system and concentrate resources.
