The general objective of this work was to determine the socio-environmental scenario related to the vulnerability of erosive processes and their diagnoses and impacts in Praia do Bispo, in the Mosqueiro District, Pará. Because it is a coastal area and due to the lack of management and monitoring, problems related to erosion processes are common, due to the lack of updated information on risk areas and local socioeconomic data. For this, the GIS tool (Geographical Information Systems) was used, in which it was possible to integrate data from different sources and forming a georeferenced database, in which it was possible to identify the points most affected by erosion. From this, we sought through the literature review, information about the area under study, as well as a socioeconomic questionnaire was applied to diagnose the situation of local residents, in order to minimize the impacts of erosion on Bispo beach in Mosqueiro/ SHOVEL. In this sense, the research was divided into 4 (four) chapters, namely: The contextualization of the study area; The perception of risks and social vulnerability of residents in Praia do Bispo/Mosqueiro-PA; The geoprocessing applied to the study of vulnerability to erosion in Praia do Bispo/Mosqueiro-PA; and Management alternatives for the problem of coastal erosion in Praia do Bispo/Mosqueiro-PA. As a result, we can say that GIS tools can generate information about erosion in areas that do not have monitoring, as well as, it was possible to carry out adequate socio-environmental planning to minimize the damage caused by erosion, starting from the implementation of environmental education with the local population. to make them aware of the risks.
