The construction of the affective bond between the pairs developed mainly, due to the prematurity of the baby. In this relationship, the attachment system allows infants to seek safety and comfort in their primary caregiver. Adult attachment styles, however, are understood as a representation of the personal, internalized and comprehensive pattern of attachment. It was also considered the Life History Theory, which identifies the strategies developed in the ontogenesis of the individual. Being, Slow strategy is related to the unpredictable environment and less parental investment, for example, while in the fast occurs the opposite. The objective of this research was to verify the influences of possible genetic and environmental factors in the adult attachment style, in the life history strategy, and in the love bond, using the Methodology of Studies with Gemini. Currently, studies with twins are used in the area of Genetics of Interdisciplinary Behavior that associates genetics and behavioral sciences. In this field of study, it is suggested that the environment plays a decisive role in each step of the course between behavior, brain and genes, considering the term environment as all non-inheritable aspects 37 pairs of monozygotic (MZ) twins and 11 pairs of dizygotic (DZ) pairs, the majority of females, with high schooling and of several states of Brazil. The twins answered an online questionnaire, with sociodemographic questions, an adult attachment style scale, a life history scale, and a love bond. Most twins had secure attachment styles (50%); low linkages in their relationships, and a slow strategy with high parental investment and few children. When analyzing the adult attachment styles, life history strategies and affective bond in the present research, it was not possible to verify the hypothesis of the MZ twins being more similar to each other than the DZ, probably due to the small sample number of the DZ, which implied not to carry out more robust statistical analyzes. However, it was verified how aspects of the environment permeate these factors and that in some way are related. To conclude, it is suggested that a greater sample number of dizygotic twins to investigate these aspects. And that the research has its relevance through the few studies with twins in Brazil in the area of Psychology, in addition to not having found national surveys that permeate these factors: attachment, life history and affective bond.
