Acesso em: .2178-1486https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/14158This paper describeand discuss the lexical variation based on data from the semantic field religion and beliefs of the Quilombola Geo-sociolinguistic Atlas of Northeastern Pará. This atlas describes and maps the linguistic variety of Afro-Brazilian Portuguese spoken in the remaining quilombo communities in the Northeast Mesoregion of Pará. The semantic field chosen for analysis is composed of questions that express the religious dimension and the beliefs of the interviewed informants in research. In this study we will present and discuss the results of the following maps: L104 -devil and L106 -spell. The atlas adopted as a starting point for obtaining the data, the assumptions of Linguistic Geography, a method of Dialectology that instrumentalizes the treatment and description of linguistic data in the socio-spatial scope, considering the diatopic, diassexual and diagerational dimensions.
