This approach aims to enhance community relations and provide more efficient outcomes within the judicial system. This model operates by involving all those who have interest in a conflict, seeking effective reparation for the harm caused to the victim, active accountability of the offender, and the identification of antecedent or consequent conditions that could give rise to such conflict episodes within a community. In Brazil, Restorative Justice was established in the legal system through Resolution No. 225 of the National Council of Justice, as part of the National Policy of Restorative Justice. The main objective of this study was to assess and analyze a public organization that works with restorative practices, according to the perspective of Behavioral Systems Analysis (BSA). To achieve this, tools such Total Performance System (TPS), the metacontingency and intervention models such as the Behavioral Systems Engineering Model (BSEM) were combined with literature review to analyze the cultural practices of this organization. The results suggested differences between the prescribed public policy and its actual implementation. Some issues were highlighted, such as the lack of operationalization of monitoring criteria by the control agencies of the Judiciary System, and the absence of feedback regarding the service (both from the users of the service and those interested in its delivery).
