Because of this, the work is part of the following problem: How is family farming (PA) in Pará characterized and how has it contributed to rural development in the state of Pará? The methodology used was quali-quantitative, based on secondary data through database research, such as the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and specialized bibliography with regard to the theme AF.
