Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aplicação da manutenção centrada na confiabilidade no sistema hidráulico de descarregador de vagões(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-06-10) ALMEIDA, Wemerson Egner; BRAGA, Eduardo de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4783553888547500; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0739-7592This work aims to propose a set of maintenance techniques defined from the application of the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology in the hydraulic system of a car dumper in a mining company. In this study, a survey of the equipment's operational data was carried out, both in the system and in the field, and after that, the inherent risks were determined as consequences of failures, classification of the entire system to obvious and hidden failures, as well as reliability analysis through risk measures and trust, in addition to the presentation of the equipment with its constructive form and operational context. As a result, a schematic model for application of maintenance tasks was proposed, covering the entire hydraulic system of these equipments and elaborating analysis of components and causes of failures. As a conclusion, the absence of effective maintenance plans to balance risk, cost and availability of a management and system for operational events data was verified. Additionally verified an average gain of 54% in relation to the number of failures, with the participation of actions in this work.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estudo de engenharia de confiabilidade e aplicação de ferramenta de inteligência artificial na gestão de ativos de uma unidade industrial na Aamazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-06-14) SÁ, João Diego Conceição de; BRAGA, Eduardo de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4783553888547500For a long time, Industrial Maintenance was considered a cost, naturally unwanted, by asset managers; however, today it is a strategic part and represents a high investment in the world's largest industries. This Maintenance is part of a relatively recent concept, but growing in the industrial environment, called Asset Management and some of its pillars are Reliability and prediction techniques of equipment's operational conditions. In this study, failure data were obtained during 5 (five) years of operation of 6 (six) hydrocarbon centrifugal pumps and from this history the most recent Reliability, Availability and Predictive Oil and Vibration Analyzes were studied. Evaluating several compound parameters in the universe of maintenance and reliability as well as determining which are the priorities of the responsible team, taking into account the operational perception of each component of this team, becomes a complex mission under the human point of view. This complexity is why it was important to use Artificial Intelligence, capable of relating purely subjective qualitative assessments to objective technical data, and demonstrate something feasible, tangible and directly applicable. With the correlation between the parameters, performed by the Fuzzy tool, it was possible to obtain a number that indicates the level of operational condition of the equipment from 0 (zero) to 10 (ten), and from this definition classify them in order of most able to perform the operation and x the most priority in terms of maintenance. With several equipments under his responsibility, obtaining the perception of the quality of Reliability and Availability, joining the data of Maintenance by the Condition of an equipment and relating all this with support from Artificial Intelligence, a manager can obtain which are the equipments that must have more attention and investment at that exact moment. In this study it became clear which equipment should be prioritized in terms of maintenance and which is in better operational condition at a given moment. This can be a model of resource optimization desired by any company that operates in a sustainable and responsible way.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Implantação do lean manufacturing na gestão de manutenção no terminal portuário ponta da madeira – TPPM: estudo de caso nos processos de planejamento, programação e controle (PPCM)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-09-02) FERREIRA, Maryclea Mourão Furtado; BRAGA, Eduardo de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4783553888547500Na atualidade, estas demandas foram ampliadas e, além de custo, qualidade, velocidade de entrega e flexibilidade, identifica-se um mercado que passa a cobrar pela redução dos impactos ambientais gerados pelos produtos e processos. Tendo como problema os fatores que ocasionam a perda de estabilidade, pode-se elencar as falhas ou quebras dos equipamentos operacionais e estes podem vir a decorrer por vários motivos. Com o objetivo geral de aplicar ferramentas do Lean em um processo de PPCM. Essa pesquisa adotou o estudo de caso para seu desenvolvimento, o estudo de caso indica princípios e regras que devem ser observados durante o processo de investigação. Os resultados principais alcançados foram: o aumento de 5 pontos percentuais (pp) correspondente a 7% na disponibilidade física dos ativos e de 4pp corresponde a 5% na disponibilidade intrínseca, além de ganhos nos indicadores de processos, com aumento de 37pp equivalente a 77% para aderência as manutenções sistemáticas e 37pp equivalente a 25% no indicador de aderência a programação, o que demonstram a eficiência do modelo proposto. Comprovando a importância da aplicação do pensamento enxuto por meio da melhora de alguns indicadores selecionados e consequentemente melhoria nos processos de manutenção.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Inspeção da ponte Senador Fábio Lucena conforme a ABNT NBR 9.452:2019, na cidade de Manaus-AM, 2021/2022(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-11-01) GOMES, Luiz Feitosa; LOAYZA, Cristhian Ricardo Loayza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4162763961640575; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0662-715X; BRAGA, Eduardo de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4783553888547500; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0739-7592This dissertation covers a case study referring to the ―Inspection of the Senador Fábio Lucena bridge, according to ABNT NBR 9452:2019, located between the neighborhoods of São Raimundo and N. S. Aparecida, in the city of Manaus-AM, 2021/2022 – Analysis of the manifestations pathological‖, with qualitative research, supported by a theoretical framework and field work, with a Study Script, which guided the recording of knowledge and images/photos. The methodological path was based on compliance with current standards and technical specifications. The research content has a general approach on bridges, with emphasis on their pathologies, mainly on their structures, encompassing infrastructure, mesostructure and superstructure, and a brief note on bridges in Brazil, with emphasis on the studied bridge. The results and methods are supported by theoretical study and also by field practice carried out at the investigation site. The research allowed us to infer that this special work of art (OAE), Senador Fábio Lucena bridge, inaugurated in 1987, even with the weather and nature, resulting from the high temperature and humidity typical of the hot and humid equatorial climate of the Region North of the country, and according to its apparent state of conservation, and according to ABNT NBR 9452:2019, it was classified as REGULAR, therefore, lacking periodic maintenance, in medium-term actions, to guarantee good conditions for vehicle traffic and of peopItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Modelagem e análise do sistema de suspensão dianteira de uma motocicleta ao frear(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-06-17) ANDRADE JÚNIOR, Braz da Costa; BRAGA, Eduardo de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4783553888547500This work describes a study of the dynamics of a ground vehicle with two degrees of freedom, in which initially it was done a brief revision of the historical concepts of the suspensions and their use in the motorcycles, with special attention to the front suspension. Then after, they were explained the main elements which compose the suspension system, nominally: the spring, which is responsible for absorb the shocks produced for the contact with the ground, and the damper, which dissipate the energy of this shocks and don't allow that the spring stretch out and compress indefinitely. They were analyzed the irregularities of the ground deeply, with a larger focus in that denominated speed bump, defining its main characteristics and obtaining its equations. The effects of the braking, as well as the effects of the dynamic transfer of load, those owed to the rotation of the vehicle around the center of gravity originating from of the braking, were reviewed and analyzed, being obtained its characteristic equations equally. Finally, the model of motorcycle front suspension was created in computational simulation, having as input equations the equations defined in the previous chapters, being the analysis of the resulting graphs the main product of this dissertationItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Proposta de otimização operacional do Porto Público Organizado de Manaus PPOM: um estudo de caso(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-05-06) MARINHO, Raphael dos Santos; BRAGA, Eduardo de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4783553888547500; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0739-7592The Manaus Organized Public Port despite its strategic location, daily on its floating docks there is a great number of vessels anchored, an intense flow of people and vehicles of large and small traffic, evidenced the inefficiency of the operational logistics; a wear and tear for PPOM workers and their users who face daily long hours waiting to perform their services of loading and unloading of goods and passengers. The objective of this study was to propose the operational optimization of the Organized Public Port of Manaus (OPPM) in relation to the flow of cargo sent or coming from the interior of the state of Amazonas. Extensive observation of the entire port structure was carried out, as well as an exhaustive review of the literature on the subject. For that, a descriptive research was carried out "in situ" (Organized Public Port of Manaus - OPPM), where an in - depth description of the reality of the current situation was carried out, through photographic reports and records of the problem investigated. After observations was applied action and diagnostic plan tools such as Ishikawa diagram, action plan 5W2H and PDCA cycle. Therefore, with the computerization of data regarding vessels, adoption of fingers at the Torres and Roadway piers and flexibility of opening hours, there is possibility of optimization in the logistic process in PPOM.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Redução do custo de pasta de solda no processo de tecnologia de montagem superficial(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-06-07) CAMARGO, Marco Antonio de Almeida; BRAGA, Eduardo de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4783553888547500; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0739-7592The Surface Mounting Technology (SMT) industries have overcome many challenges over the past few years with regard to their position in relation to environmental issues and cost reduction. New standards for the control and elimination of substances considered harmful to the environment have been edited, causing several industrial sectors to review projects and specifications in order to adapt to these new standards. One of the concerns lies in the fact that the welding procedures for electronic components incorporate lead, which poses risks to operators involved in the production processes, as well as a high value in the cost of solder paste. The most common alloy is lead free, it is a tin-based alloy, which replaces lead with 3.9% silver and 0.6% copper. The alloy is known as (SAC) Sn3,9Ag0,6Cu. The material is applied to the process used in the manufacture of about 70% of the computer boards currently produced. For processes that use higher temperatures, there are two other alloys: Sn0.7Cu, a tin alloy with 0.7% copper, and SN3.5Ag, which has 3.5% silver. The need to migrate welding processes to this new type of technology requires companies to adopt a strategy of change appropriate to the maintenance of current processes and their gradual replacement by lead-free welding processes and their implications for costs. The main objective of this dissertation is to present the development of the solder process in local paste in order to reduce production costs, maintaining the quality and reliability of thex product, especially the main plates of televisions. This study, in addition to presenting a bibliographic review involving the SMT process, will explore the concepts about the types of solder pastes so that the reader can have a better understanding of what will be proposed as well as, the description of the case study in a factory in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). The results show that the local industry seeks in a planned and consistent way to process innovations and process cost reduction. The cost reduction mainly includes the reduction in the cost of raw material, the main competitive advantage of Chinese companies, usually 30% cheaper than that of competitors (despite the inferior quality). It is concluded that it is possible to evidence the significant reduction in the costs of solder paste in the process of surface assembly technology (SMT) with its manufacture made locally.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Seleção de fornecedores de peças usando fuzzy AHP no setor de produção de áudio e televisão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-05-06) VIEIRA, Geórgenes Wilkens Maciel; BRAGA, Eduardo de Magalhães; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4783553888547500; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0739-7592Today's highly competitive environment is forcing manufacturing organizations to establish effective long-term collaboration with efficient organizations. As a result, an effective supplier selection process is very important to the success of any manufacturing organization for cooperation and is essential for companies to get competitive advantage. The purpose of this dissertation is to develop a model that support the decision making on the parts suppliers selection, through the Fuzzy Analysis Hierarchical Process (FAHP), in a supply chain. In order to carry out the suppliers selection process, as data input was used the experts team of Procurement, Quality and Process Engineering areas. From this model, a tool was developed that provided the supplier selection automatic result. The main results were achieved: increasing knowledge, applying the FAHP, defining and presenting the priority and the weights of the criteria for decision making of suppliers selection. It was concluded that the presented model is reliable and simple execution, however, it depends on the expertise and the technical knowledge of the participants on the subject in question. The study presented has its importance for the industry as well as the process presenting relevant results.
