Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Casa de memória transxingu: patrimônio cultural digital como preservação de patrimônio cultural ameaçado(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-06-29) MARTINS, Alan David Bitencourt; HAMOY, Idanise Sant’Ana Azevedo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0136019251243788; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8339-4233Launched in 2003 by UNESCO, the Charter for the Preservation of Digital Heritage highlighted the importance of data preservation, since then efforts have been made to establish attractive principles that justify investments by governments and institutions to preserve this type of heritage, formed above all from the process of adopting digital information and communication technologies. In order to contribute to the discussion and understanding of this type of heritage and to collaborate with the construction of those principles, this work researched the process of creating the Collection of the Casa de Memória Transxingu, in Altamira, Pará, an essentially digital collection created to preserve the culture from the process of inventorying the cultural assets of the medium-low Xingu region, a way of compensating for the profound changes that the installation of the Belo Monte Hydroelectric Power Plant brought to the region. We show how the laws for the preservation of cultural heritage and the preservation of the environment were constructed and linked over time in order to preserve culture by determining the inventory of cultural assets in the region and detail the stages of idealization, projection and execution of the processes. of construction of the House of Memory, the inventory and assembly of the Museum Space intended to promote and preserve the Collection, discussing at each moment important points regarding the use of this type of heritage as a way of preserving cultural heritage, demonstrating how digital heritage can preserve cultural heritage by becoming a digital cultural heritage.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Tráfico ilícito de bens culturais e os desafios para a proteção do patrimônio documental: análise do furto à coleção de obras raras do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-06-30) NEVES, Inaiê del Castillo Andrade; SANJAD, Nelson Rodrigues; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9110037947248805; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6372-1185; HAMOY, Idanise Sant’Ana Azevedo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3847727774437903; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7111-912XThe research addresses the challenges for the protection of documentary heritage in the context of illicit trafficking of cultural property. As a focal object, it is proposed to analyze the limitations related to the investigation of the theft of 63 (sixty-three) works that took place in the Special Collection of Rare Works of the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, in 2008. Based on this analysis, it is intended to place this fact in the broader context of crimes against institutions that are custodians of documentary heritage assets in Brazil, which took place from the beginning of the 21st century onwards. In its methodology, it is a case study built from exploratory and descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, in which bibliographic and documentary sources were consulted. The theoretical framework is composed of interdisciplinary texts, covering several areas of knowledge relevant to the subject, such as Cultural Heritage, Law, Museology, Librarianship and Information Science.
