Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aspectos geoambientais dos recursos hídricos do Rio Cuinarana, Magalhães Barata - Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-11-29) SILVA, Silvano Costa da; FERREIRA, Cristiane de Paula; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7804816854015308The present work had the objective of mapping the Cuinarana river basin and describing the state of conservation of the sources in the municipality of Magalhães Barata, northern Pará, through an environmental diagnosis of the headwaters and cartographic production of thematic maps, in order to subsidize actions to promote the maintenance and sustainable use of water resources. It should be noted that there is no information of this nature for the studied municipality and therefore the area was chosen for the study, as a way of detecting the environmental problems in this basin, in order to develop public policies directed to environmental education. The study identified the situations of degradation of the main springs, in addition to georeferencing the Cuinarana River. The procedures adopted for the elaboration of the environmental diagnosis of the headwaters were based on evaluation protocols, which emphasize the physical integrity of the habitat around the headwaters, observing the aspects of the use and occupation of the soil, predominant vegetation, characteristic of the springs, its uses and the state of conservation. For the river maps, the boundary of the Cuinarana River basin was based on georeferenced relief data from the area in question, derived from the dot matrix products of the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM), prepared by the US government agency National Aeronautics and Space Admistration ( NASA), and provided with correction calculations by the National Institute of Space Research (INPE), Brazil. The results obtained demonstrated that of the 11 springs raised, three 3 are in poor condition due to environmental impacts. The information from the maps shows that the Cuinarana River basin has undergone a process of transformation due to anthropic interference, resulting in different socio-environmental problems unaccompanied by effective environmental planning policies. Faced with the problem, the research product is a didactic atlas of the Cuinarana River Hydrographic Basin, composed of 10 thematic maps.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Horto de plantas medicinais e sua aplicabilidade no ensino para graduação em farmácia e áreas afins(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-05-29) XAVIER JÚNIOR, Sebastião Ribeiro; FERREIRA, Cristiane de Paula; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7804816854015308Men seek in nature resources to improve their own living conditions, making us completely dependent on plants, which in turn are present in human life in the most different ways. However, the accelerated deforestation in the region, where there is a natural occurrence of several medicinal species, requires rapid action to rescue, conserve and study these vegetables. In this way, the installation of plant gardens associated with the use of a booklet, can contribute significantly to studies in several areas of knowledge. In this perspective, the present work aims to create a vegetable garden composed of medicinal plants and a booklet about them in the pharmacy course at UFPA, in order to subsidize research, teaching and extension for this and other undergraduate courses. The total of 42 species of plants were considered medicinal for the creation of the vegetable garden. The plants were collected and taken for identification at the IAN herbarium (Embrapa Amazônia Oriental), all materials were photographed and inserted in the vegetable garden. The data generated were used to produce the booklet of medicinal plants. For to assess the vegetable garden, a course on medicinal plants was prepared and organized with undergraduate students and technical level, in which two questionnaires (I and II) were applied, with the purpose of providing information on the knowledge related to the theme before and after the course. For the validation of the booklet, the product was sent to researchers and teachers for evaluation and suggestions. Thus, the medicinal plant garden was created with a total of 42 species, at UFPA, in an area of 40m x 20m. For the validation of this tool, 46 students who participated in the course were interviewed with the presence of six institutions: UFPA, UFRA, IFPA, UNAMA, COSMOPOLITA and ESAMAZ. The courses represented were: Pharmacy (38 students), Forest Engineering (3), Nursing (3) and the Technical Course in Environment (2), the research confirmed the students' interest in a space like the garden, demonstrating some knowledge about medicinal plants and emphasizing the importance of a space for their professional training. Regarding the booklet, 22 professionals (teachers and researchers) in the area, analyzed the material and confirmed that they could use this teaching material (100%) as a resource in conjunction with the vegetable garden in their classes, emphasizing the importance of using materials that escape conventional and talk to the students' reality. In general, all respondents understand the importance of products like these (vegetable garden and booklet) for the enhancement and increase in the teaching of botany, highlighting the importance of a space for the development of the medicinal plants theme and its use linked to didactic material.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Igarapés amazônicos e seus usos para recreação e lazer: uma proposta de ensino investigativo para alunos do curso técnico em meio ambiente(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-10-01) ROCHA, Cristiane de Almeida Belém; FRANÇA, Jessika Paiva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6056182612110122; HTTPS://ORCID.ORG/0000-0002-0201-8867; FERREIRA, Cristiane de Paula; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7804816854015308The Amazonian streams are aquatic ecosystems with multiple uses, including recreation/leisure. In the Amazon region, streams with this purpose are called resorts, and structures are installed in them that cause environmental impacts that can vary depending on the degree of anthropization of the location. To assess such impacts, Rapid Habitat Assessment Protocols (PARH) are excellent resources for the environmental diagnosis of aquatic ecosystems, since they are low-cost and do not require specialized labor. Our objective is to analyze the environmental vision that students of technical education in the environment have in relation to the Amazonian streams and to expand scientific knowledge about the ecology and impacts of resort installations on these ecosystems. To achieve the proposed objective, an investigative teaching proposal was conducted for students in the 2nd year of Integrated High School (EMI)-Environmental Technician, at EETEPA Vilhena Alves in Belém, PA, organized in five stages: i) survey of previous ideas, ii) brainstorming, iii) theoretical class, iv) practical field class, v) evaluative questionnaire. As a result, an Investigative Didactic Sequence (IDS) was developed, which is a methodological strategy to evaluate, together with students in technical training, the degree of human interference in the streams used as bathing areas in the Amazon region. This strategy promotes technical and professional training, raising community awareness to recognize and take significant measures to mitigate the degradation of natural habitats. Additionally, it serves as a pedagogical resource capable of promoting and expanding the teaching of environmental sciences in the Amazon region.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O uso consciente da água para a sustentabilidade: uma abordagem de aprendizagem interdisciplinar no ambiente escolar.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-06-29) SANTANA, Diego Rodrigues; FERREIRA, Cristiane de Paula; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7804816854015308Environmental issues have gained notoriety in the social context, as the impacts continuously caused by human action have directly affected terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. The present work aimed to research the importance of water, conscious consumption and wasting water at Coronel Sampaio Municipal Elementary School, from 6th to 9th grade. The methodological instruments used were learning based on the problematization methodology of Charles de Maguerez, with contributions from participant-action-research and project-based learning methodology. It was developed in three stages: initially discussing the importance of water as an essential element for quality of life, through the school project “We need to talk about water”, with interdisciplinary lectures and lectures. The present study culminated in an educational product, a Board Game, as a ludic and pedagogical instrument with the objective of assisting the teaching practice in relation to the contents of the curricular components that involve the theme “water” according to the BNCC. The results of this educational product obtained through the evaluation made by students and teachers were positive and with benefits that favor the pedagogical practice and can be consulted at the end of this work.
