Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Correntezas da leitura: navegando pelos fanzines ambientais na educação de jovens adultos e idosos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-08-30) CAMPOS, Lúcia Pantoja Gonçalves; KETTLE, Wesley Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9421187953739248Fanzines are small books or magazines that can be produced without bureaucracy and by anyone who might be interested. Their production deserves to be highlighted for having a creative, artistic and authorial dimension, being low cost and non-profit. Thanks to their simple and inexpensive method, their production gains relevance, especially because they can cover any theme or subject. Thus, this work aimed to develop a didactic-pedagogical guide to assist in the production of fanzines on the theme of water resources for EJAI students, in the pedagogical space of the school library, aiming to contribute to the interdisciplinary teaching of environmental sciences and to the formation of the reader, considering the educational method proposed by Paulo Freire (2021) and the socio-interactionist approach of Lev Vygotsky (1991). The proposal follows the production of fanzines supported by (re)reading, discussion of the theme and writing, considering the life experiences of the student, reinforcing their creativity, autonomy and historical condition. The methodology adopted was qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The project was approved by the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) of Plataforma Brasil, under CAAE: 74208223.8.0000.0018 and the research was developed in the library of a public school of the state education system, in Belém/PA, in the 2nd stage class of the EJAI high school at night. The script proposed here is aimed at stimulating the practice of reading, writing and creativity of students for the elaboration of fanzines as an instrument of systematization of knowledge and a vehicle of social interaction. The script proposed here is aimed at stimulating the practice of reading, writing and creativity of students for the creation of fanzines as an instrument for systematizing knowledge and a vehicle for social interaction, making it clear that through fanzines it is possible to awaken the interest of EJAI students and enhance the teaching of environmental sciences through (re)reading, discussion and artistic creation, using the school library environment.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Para falar de águas: almanaque para o ensino das ciências ambientais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-09-10) NUNES, Elen Rosa dos Reis; KETTLE, Wesley Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9421187953739248Water is essential to life and although it is a renewable natural element, it needs to be considered a limited resource, as it is at risk of scarcity due to growing environmental degradation, which affects the quality of life in cities, such as on the outskirts, where people have difficulty accessing it. With a view to deepening the debate on the subject, the general aim of this dissertation is to create an interactive almanac entitled “Waters: a path of discovery”, aimed at students in the 4th year of elementary school, for teaching environmental sciences in everyday school life. The specific objectives were: to debate the relationship between water and the city over time; to discuss the main theoretical approaches to the almanac as an educational resource for meaningful learning; to analyze the construction of the almanac in its stages, taking into account the specificities of 4th grade students in the Early Years of Elementary School; to validate the almanac prepared as a technical pedagogical product from the perspective of the students participating in the research. Considering the environmental and educational field, a qualitative methodology was used, with an exploratory and descriptive approach. As a result, it was observed that the children who came into contact with the almanac showed greater interest in the subject of water and significantly deepened the environmental debate. It should be emphasized that talking about water requires talking about the relationship between nature and society and its problems, such as guaranteeing human rights, especially for children, access to drinking water, basic sanitation, environmental racism, among others; these issues need to be widely debated in order to build sustainability, citizenship and solidarity.
