Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação do burnout em trabalhadores de um hospital universitário do município de Belém (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-06) PANTOJA, Fábio Gian Braga; SILVA, Marcos Valério Santos da; ANDRADE, Marcieni Ataide de; SANTOS, Alex de Assis Santos dosThe objective of this study was to evaluate the elements that characterize burnout in workers at a university hospital in the city of Belém, state of Pará, Brazil. It is a descriptive study, with a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional delineation, investigating 62 workers. It was verified a high prevalence rate. Although some results do not confirm the literature, it must be emphasized that most of the professional categories had not yet been studied adopting this methodology, which prevents more consistent comparisons. It is suggested that working conditions may be more responsible for the symptoms of burnout rather than the isolated characteristics of the professionals.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estudo fitoquímico e análise mutagênica das folhas e inflorescências de Erythrina mulungu (Mart. ex Benth.) através do teste de micronúcleo em roedores(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012) BONA, Ana Paula de; BATITUCCI, Maria do Carmo Pimentel; ANDRADE, Marcieni Ataide de; RIVA, J.A.R.; PERDIGÃO, T.L.This study aimed to investigate the chemical composition, to establish the mean lethal dose (LD50) and to assess the potential mutagenic effects of hydroalcoholic extract of leaves and inflorescences of Erythrina mulungu Mart. ex Benth by using micronucleus test in bone marrow of mice. Phytochemical assays were carried out through preliminary reactions with color change and/or precipitate formation; the LD50 was obtained by intraperitoneal administration of three concentrations of the extracts, assessing the number of deaths after 48 hours, and the micronucleus test was done by the smear method, after exposure of animals to five days of treatment. Phytochemical results showed the presence of reducing sugars, phenols and tannins, proteins and amino acids, flavonoids, alkaloids, depsides, depsidones and coumarin derivatives in both organs; foaming and steroidal saponins and triterpenes in the leaves and cardiotonic and anthraquinonic glycosides and alkaloids in the inflorescences. Considering the LD50, the leaf was atoxic and the inflorescence was moderately toxic. As regards the micronucleus test, results indicated absence of cytotoxicity while genotoxicity was dose-dependent for leaves and dose-independent for inflorescences. Thus, these results suggest that the plant, under the tested conditions, has the potential to induce damages to the DNA.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Plantas medicinais e seus usos na comunidade da Barra do Jucu, Vila Velha, ES(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-09) SILVA, Priscila Albertasse Dutra da; THOMAZ, Luciana Dias; ANDRADE, Marcieni Ataide deBarra do Jucu is a community from Vila Velha Municipality, Espírito Santo State, Brazil, located in a restinga area and inhabited by "caiçaras", whose income is mainly from fishing. The aim of this study was to recover and systematize popular information about the medicinal plants used in this locality. In total, 86 species belonging to 41 families were cited, of which Lamiaceae, Asteraceae and Solanaceae had the largest number of species. The mentioned species are related to 59 medicinal uses, mainly to diseases associated with the digestive system. The number of citations per informant for each taxon, as well as the number of uses was quantified, indicating the most used species in this area, including Plectranthus barbatus Andrews, the most cited one, and Anacardium occidentale L., the most used one. The results demonstrated that the population has wide knowledge about the plants and their healing properties.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Prescrições medicamentosas de pacientes atendidos no ambulatório de geriatria de um hospital universitário: estudo transversal descritivo(2014-08) CUENTRO, Vanessa da Silva; ANDRADE, Marcieni Ataide de; GERLACK, Letícia Farias; BÓS, Ângelo José Gonçalves; SILVA, Marcos Valério Santos da; OLIVEIRA, Alex Ferreira deThe scope of this study was to evaluate drug prescriptions for elderly patients in the geriatric outpatient ward of a hospital. A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in a university hospital, with the application of a questionnaire. Patients aged > 60 years were interviewed about their drug prescriptions and a total of 208 patients were interviewed. The average number of drugs used per person was 3.8 and the drugs most used were for the cardiovascular system (37%). 406 potential interactions were identified in 140 patients (67.3%), and duplicate therapy was found in two prescriptions. The potentially inappropriate drug most used for the elderly was nifedipine (2.4%). Data from this study support the relevance of the issue of drug use among the elderly, thus reinforcing the importance of the evaluation of the process of the prescription of drugs for this population.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sentidos atribuídos à integralidade: entre o que é preconizado e vivido na equipe multidisciplinar(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-09) SILVA, Marcos Valério Santos da; MIRANDA, Gilza Brena Nonato; ANDRADE, Marcieni Ataide deThe aim of this paper is to discuss the practitioners’ view about icomprehensiveness in health. This study is part of a Masters’ degree qualitative dissertation, held in Belém, Pará, in the period from june to august 2015. Most participants attributed the meaning of comprehensiveness in health as “a holistic view of the being,” and were able to see the relationship between comprehensiveness and multidisciplinary approach. There is the need todeepen the knowledge of the principles of SUS even during training, to accomplish more effective health actions.
