Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise da influência do formato de elemento de concreto e propriedades de fibras de aço na tenacidade à flexão(Rede Latino-Americana de Materiais, 2018-10) OLIVEIRA, Marco Antonio Barbosa de; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal Soares; OLIVEIRA, Dênio Ramam Carvalho de; POMPEU NETO, Bernardo BorgesConcrete characterizing studies with steel fibers starting from the assay of the traction on flexural of prisms to obtain the toughness flexural have being done to the parameterization of the mechanic behavior of concrete pipes with steel fibers. The study aim is to adjust curves modeling the toughness estimates to the flex on concrete pipes in function to the toughness flexural on prims, both with steel fibers randomly oriented and moreover verify if there is or there is not significant statistic difference among toughness average to flexural when compared to the concrete element form (pipe or prism), and the priorities of steel fibers: Form Factor (65 or 80), State (free or joined to the basis comb) and theoretical fiber consumptions (0,25% or 0,38% or 0,50%). Curves were adjusted modeling the concrete pipe toughness with steel fibers in function of prism flexural toughness, being possible to observe that larger is the prism flexural toughness the larger will be the pipe flexural toughness. The analysis of variance was used to evaluate the existence or not of significant statistic difference among double or triple or quadruples associations. It was individually found that there is not significant statistic difference among the average values of toughness flexural, when compared concrete elements forms, however, there is significant statistic average values of toughness flexural when compared: (i) Form Factor; (ii) State and (iii) Theoretical Fiber Consumption. There was influence on the average values of flexural toughness when we make associations among the different levels of form factors, state and theoretical consumptions on fibers.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Autorregulação emocional e estados afetivos de alunos de pós-graduação stricto sensu(Universidade Estadual do Ceará, 2023) TORQUATO, Jamille Gabriela da Silva; FURTADO, Maria Roberta Miranda; SILVA, Emmanuelle Pantoja; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal Soares; RAMOS, Maely Ferreira HolandaThe objective was to identify the levels of adaptation of emotion regulation strategies and the probabilities of association between emotional self-regulation for sadness, joy and anger, and affective states of graduate students. For this, 58 graduate, master and doctoral students from two programs at a Federal University participated, who filled out a characterization questionnaire and the Life Satisfaction, Positive Affect and Assessment of Emotional Regulation Strategies scales. of Adults. Data were analyzed quantitatively, using descriptive statistics with a measure of central tendency, with the help of SPSS 20 software. The results show that, despite the difference between the number of participants per program, students have used satisfactory strategies, since there was no minimum score on any of the subscales – sadness, anger and fear. When associated with the study categories, it was found that Life Satisfaction has a high positive correlation with Joy and positive Affect. In addition, it is clear that students who had a low feeling of satisfaction with life, do not show animation and engagement in everyday activities. The absence of adaptive strategies for negative emotions tends to directly affect the subjects' positive affect and feelings of well-being. It is suggested the development of new studies, with an enlarged sample and that accompany the formative process of the students, in order to understand the influences of the strategies used in the academic performance.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Bioactivity of aqueous extracts of Clibadium sylvestre (Aubl.) Baill. and Derris amazonica Killip on the aphid Myzus persicae (Sulzer, 1776) (Hemiptera: Aphididae)(2011-12) FILGUEIRAS, Camila Cramer; FARIAS, Paulo Roberto Silva; CARDOSO, Maria das Graças; VENDRAMIM, José Djair; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal Soares; CANTÃO, Fernando Rodrigo de OliveiraStudies with botanical insecticides have become more popular as an alternative to Integrated Pest Management. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of leaf and fruit aqueous extracts, from the species Clibadium sylvestre, and leaves and root of Derris amazonica species at concentrations of 0, 1, 2, 4 and 8%, in the control of the aphid Myzus persicae (Hemiptera: Aphididae). Four experiments were conducted; two tests with choice preference and two tests with no choice preference, giving nine treatments and five repetitions. Phytochemical screening was carried out from the leaves and fruit of the species C. sylvestre and leaves and root of D. amazonica. Evaluations of mortality, number of nymphs, and deterrence index of the insects were conducted 24, 48 and 72 h after the application of the extracts. The aqueous extracts tested from C. sylvestre fruit concentrations had the highest mortality compared to the control; in the analysis of the number of the nymphs, the aqueous extract from fruit at 8% concentration had a higher efficiency than the other treatments. The D. amazonica leaves extract at 1% concentration showed the highest mortality and the lowest number of nymphs. The D. amazonica root extracts increased mortality at all concentrations tested, and the 8% concentration had the fewest nymphs. All treatments showed a deterrent effect. The 72 h period showed the greatest effect of the extracts, on two species of insects.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ecofisiologia de plantas jovens de mogno-africano submetidas a deficit hídrico e reidratação(2013-01) ALBUQUERQUE, Marcos Paulo Ferreira de; MORAES, Fabrícia Kelly Cabral; SANTOS, Rodolfo Inacio Nunes; CASTRO, Gledson Luiz Salgado de; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal Soares; PINHEIRO, Hugo AlvesThe objective of this work was to evaluate the capacity of young plants of African mahogany (Khaya ivorensis) to recover their water status and gas exchange after water deficit. Plants with approximately 315 days, irrigated (control) and non-irrigated, were evaluated after water was withheld for 14 days, and after one, three, and seven days of irrigation resumption (rehydration). On day 14, the predawn leaf water potential (Ψam) of stressed plants was reduced to -2.66 MPa. With water deficit, significant decreases were observed in predawn relative water content (32% reduction), in net assimilation rate of CO2 (90%), in stomatal conductance (95%), in transpiration (93%), and in intercellular to ambient ratio of CO2 concentration (37%). During rehydration, the water status of stressed plants was recovered after three days. Gas exchange was also recovered, but in a slower rate than water status. Under water deficit, proline concentration increased and total soluble carbohydrate concentration decreased. Young African mahogany plants are tolerant to moderate water deficit.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Economic injury level of citrus black-fly in commercial ‘pera-rio’ orange area(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-07) LIMA, Bruno Gonçalves; FARIAS, Paulo Roberto Silva; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal Soares; SALES, Tiago de Melo; SILVA, Anderson Gonçalves daCitrus black-fly (Aleurocanthus woglumi) has become an important pest in many citrus-producing regions in Brazil, causing direct and indirect damage to plants. Due to the lack of studies on the economic injury level (EIL) for this insect, control efficiency can be impaired. The objective of this research was to determine the EIL and the influence on the productivity of orange trees colonized by A. woglumi nymphs in an orchard located in the municipality of Capitao-Poço, Pará, using statistical analysis and damage prediction models through multivariate statistics. Population levels varied along the experiment. Infestation by A. woglumi nymphs negatively influenced orange production in Capitao-Poço with the highest population densities of the pest associated to lower plant productivity. The level of A. woglumi infestation on orange trees resulting in economic losses was, on average, 47.63% of infested plants, ranging from 22.75 to 89.92% and EIL is expressed by equation Y = 97.39 – 8.43x.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Estresse e características resilientes em alunos com deficiência e TFE na UFPA(Conselhos Federal e Regionais de Psicologia, 2019) PEREIRA, Rosamaria Reo; SILVA, Simone Souza da Costa; FACIOLA, Rosana Assef; PONTES, Fernando Augusto Ramos; RAMOS, Maély Ferreira Holanda; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal SoaresThere are few studies dealing with the presence of stress and resilience on undergraduate students with disabilities and with specific functional disorders in higher education, which indicates the need for these two themes to be more studied and better understood in the university environment. The present study aimed to describe the sociodemographic and academic characteristics of 50 university students who participated in the study and correlate them with levels of stress and resilience. The instruments used were a semi-structured questionnaire and two scales: Perceived Stress Scale and Resilience Scale. The results were analyzed through descriptive statistics and the exploratory statistical technique. The results showed that students with high levels of stress have moderate and low levels of resilience. From this result, it was concluded the need to develop programs that aim at the maintenance of effective coping strategies in adverse situations within the academic context. It is expected that this study may contribute to the construction of institutional policies that favor the inclusion in fact of students with disabilities and with specific functional disorders at the Federal University of Pará and other higher education institutions.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Influência da exploração florestal de impacto reduzido sobre as fases de desenvolvimento de uma floresta de terra firme, pará, brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-12) FRANCEZ, Luciana Maria de Barros; CARVALHO, João Olegário Pereira de; BATISTA, Fábio de Jesus; JARDIM, Fernando Cristóvam da Silva; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal SoaresThe influence of reduced impact logging were evaluated on the growth phases of a terra firme forest in the Paragominas region, state of Pará, that was logged considering two intensities of timber harvesting. Data were collected in 36 permanent sample plots (0.25ha) randomly distributed among treatments (T1 – Logged forest, harvesting the stem of commercial trees; T2 – Logged forest, harvesting the stem and coarse woody debris) and control (T0 unlogged forest). Three growth phases of the forest were considered: mature (DBH > 40cm); building forest (10cm < DBH < 40cm); and gaps (occurrence of a canopy gap and a few or no tree with DBH > 10cm). The homogeneity of variances of sub-plots between treatments, growth phases and years was tested by the Bonferroni test, according to the statistics of Bartlett and Levene. An analysis of variance was applied on the number of sub-plots by phases, years and treatments at a 0.005 significance level. The Tukey test was applied for analyzing the interaction between the phases and years. Before logging the percentage of growth phases were: 57.0% building forest, 38.9% mature forest and 4.1% canopy gaps. Logging reduced the areas of mature forest and building forest, increasing the number of canopy gaps, but this increase had no statistical difference. One year after logging the area of mature forest (38.4%) and building forest (53.1%) increased while the areas of gaps (8.4%) decreased. Three years after logging the percentage of mature forest (37.1%), building forest (57.9%) and gaps (5.0%) were similar to those found before logging. The forest growth phases were not influenced by logging, over the study period. The study forest showed that it is able to grow, closing the canopy gaps, even in a short period of time.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Satisfação no trabalho docente: uma análise a partir do modelo social cognitivo de satisfação no trabalho e da eficácia coletiva docente(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2016-06) RAMOS, Maély Ferreira Holanda; FERNANDEZ, Ana Patrícia de Oliveira; FURTADO, Karla Cristina Nina; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal Soares; SILVA, Simone Souza da Costa; PONTES, Fernando Augusto RamosThe teacher job satisfaction: An analysis from the social cognitive model of job satisfaction and collective efficacy from teachers. Whereas job satisfaction is an aspect that has an effect on the motivational states of teachers, it is necessary to investigate its implications for teaching. Thus, this study aims to: identify factors related to job satisfaction based on the assessment of the dimensions of the Social Cognitive Model of Job Satisfaction (MSCST) and collective efficacy. For this, research was conducted on a sample of 495 teachers of private schools using mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative). Technical data analysis statistics were applied to the information collected concerning the total sample (495). The content analysis (qualitative approach) was applied at the open of 40 teachers from the sample answers. The results indicated that the efficacy beliefs (self-efficacy and collective efficacy) has no effect on satisfaction in teaching and other factors such as economic, may be more related to satisfaction.
