    Entre a fronteira e o limiar: o autor e o narrador em scenas da vida Amazônica

    The history of literature was marked by the selection of certain works and authors for the composition of the canon. Others remain on the sidelines, recovered, however, by the reader that who updates and discusses it. Scenas da Vida Amazônica is one of these works, whose reception not only retakes it, but also raises issues about the constitution of the work, which is understood both as an ethnographic text and as a literary one. Based on the first edition of the work (1886), this article aims to discuss the statute that stablishes it, following the theoretical constructs of Walter Benjamim (1994) about the idea of threshold and its relation with fictionality and associating it to the thought of Wolf Schimid (2010) that regards event as an essential condition of narrativity. Furthermore, it considers the studies of Harold Bloom (1995), Gérard Genette (2008), Wolfgang Iser (1983) and Josefine Ludmer (2007). As a result, threshold is understood as the narrator’s point of excellence and as an indelible mark of fiction, which constitutes and afirms itself from a certain event. Within the narratives and descriptions, among the chapters and beyond, relating literature to other productions of José Veríssimo, Scenas da Vida Amazônica is a work circumscribed by passages.

    José Veríssimo: seus anos de formação (1877-1891)

    The work, “José Veríssimo: His formative years (1877 to 1891)”, is about the intellectual production of this Amazonian thinker in his years in Pará, from 1877 to 1891. It aims to comprehend the critic’s thought – how he introduces and integrates the Amazon in the intellectual setting of the time, based on ethnographic, literary and educational themes that started in the Belenian press and which culminated in works that marked the first expressions of his thought. Using a qualitative bibliographic research method, the thesis was based on studies of hermeneutics by Friedrich Schleiermacher (1999), on the aesthetics of reception by Hans Robert Jauss (1979), on the paratextuality presented by Gerard Genette (1982), on the history of book by Roger Laufer (1980[1972]) and Robert Darnton (1995), the narratological studies by Wolf Schmid (2010) and the reception of pragmatic texts by Karlheinz Stierle (1979). Regarding the reception of José Veríssimo's anthology, the reading of Franklin Távora (1883), Silvio Romero (1980), Machado de Assis (1899), Francisco Prisco (1937), João Alexandre Barbosa (1974) and Felipe Tavares de Moraes (2018). Data analysis revealed that in the three themes in which the Obidense intellectual moved - Ethnographic, Literary and Educational - the critic brought to the debate issues of popular culture, politics, art, women, mestizaje, the indigenous, the black, from the working class, religion, housing, language, folklore, economy, among others, introducing, as an Amazonian thinker, a need for representation and interest in the building of a national intellectual project. It was noticed, in turn, that the reception of works is organized in several fields of knowledge, through which readers update the works and seek to understand the historical roots of the country and the formation of the critical language of the author of Scenes from Amazonian Life (1886).

    Migração e colonização da transamazônica na obra de Odette de Barros Mott

    The present study aims to reflect on migration process for the colonization of the Transamazon highway in the 1970s from the analysis of the work Transa Amazônica (the great illusion), by the writer Odette de Barros Mott. Thus the approach takes as its starting point the literary work, and the consultation of books, newspapers and other sources of publication of the time, with a view to providing a discussion in order to dialogue on the issues exposed in the narrative. Thus, it is seen that relevant points of immigration and colonization of the Transamazônica were presented, which allow an analysis of the daily life of the highway from the literature. In view of the above, this approach helps to reiterate the importance of the author for national literature, and to collaborate for the various works on the great projects of the Amazon.

    Antônio Maria Macêdo is part of the third generation of a family of Portuguese descent who works in the production of caeteuara ceramics, in a community known as Fazendinha, in the municipality of Bragança-Pará. The video records, in the person of Mr. 102 Nova Revista Amazônica – ANO IV – Volume 3 – DEZEMBRO 2016 – ISSN: 2318-1346 Paixão, that behind the pieces manufactured by hand and recognized in the region, there are ecological knowledge simbricados, fruits of the interaction of the family that works in the production of the crafts and its relationship of appreciation and affection with the environment .     Maria do Bairro is a shaman. It is a threshold figure par excellence and for some reasons. First, it does not fit the heteronormative patterns, it does not respond to male / female binarism, something similar to what Judith Butler proposes in her Gender Problems (2013).Second, he chose a place that is in the middle of two communities, Acarpará and Tamatateua. Third, because for the very condition of the shaman being in the middle is a prerogative for one who can see what ordinary eyes do not see. What Maria sees composes her oral poetics and in them the stories of the Matinta and the Werewolf are narrated, giving us to know, with event and performance, the experiences of the enchanted one of Taperaçu-Campo and its threshold experiences with the Amazonian mythopoetics.

    Práticas experimentais em física: iniciação à pesquisa numa perspectiva da aprendizagem significativa

    This study presents a qualitative research with an action research approach in which I search analyze the process of the scientific knowledge construction around the physics concepts in the prospect of meaningful learning, by the educating through the researching, during the construction of the experiments of low costing from the school physics laboratory. To do this, I developed a project of initiation to the research called ‘’young scientists in action”, where the students developed researching activities, experimentation and monitoring during the fourth bimester from the school year of 2016. The objects of research are the students from 9th year of the Elementary School and 1st High School from a private school located at Capanema-PA city, where I work as teacher of Physics. The analysis is result of a descriptive procedure with elaborated categories from the speeches and writing of the students. The present work showed that: the educating by the research provides to the educator the function of mediator and to students the function of participative person of his learning, providing motivation and predisposition to learn, providing ways to the significative learning during the process; it is relevant to the teacher knows the learning necessities of students to a reflection about his actions in the classroom; the results also indicate that the research objects see the physics laboratory at the school as a place that provides learning, helping in the comprehension of the concepts studied and that promotes a scientific learning divulgation. To divulgate the work developed, I present as product of my research a portfolio entitled Young Scientists in Action: implementation of the laboratory with experiment of low cost. The referred portfolio has the synthesis of the theoretical fundamentation adopted, the methodological procedures of the actions developed and images of the developed experiments. I hope, through this research and product contributing to the teaching practice of my profession colleagues, showing that it is possible develop a project whereby the student is the active object of all action.
