Since the 1960s, the Brazilian Amazon has suffered from several territorial transformations, an immediate result of the process of institutional integration and federalization by the military regime. The impacts caused by this development model, based on large enterprises, fell upon the social environment, directly affecting local populations and traditional peoples, as well as on the environment, by causing a series of irretrievable damage to the region's natural resources. The implementation and operation of these large projects on the frontier of the Brazilian Amazon, however, began to present a territorial dynamic marked by intense conflicts, particularly in the state of Pará. Fishing resources make up a considerable part of natural resources, which were considerably impaired by the large mining and hydroelectric projects, causing pollution of the water bodies, the silting of rivers and a decrease in fishing stocks, considered the main food-economic source of these traditional communities. It is in this perspective that the fisheries agreements emerged, acting as empowering instruments for the fishing communities and conflict moderators in the fishing territories. The fundamental objective of this article, therefore, is to understand how fisheries agreements may act in moderating conflicts over fishing resources, resulting from the implementation of large enterprises, seeking to assess the repercussions of this in the municipality of Limoeiro do Ajuru in the state of Pará. The main conclusion is that the fisheries agreements are capable of acting in the governance of the territory by strengthening a series of actions within the scope of sustainable management of fishing resources and local development in its social, economic and environmental aspects.

Man's late perception of understanding that he has always been an integral part of nature led him to use natural resources as if they were infinite. Therefore, when he woke up to reality, the environmental, economic and social damage had already gained large proportions, especially with regard to the damage caused by deforestation. Thus, this Master's Thesis aimed to research the importance of the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) as an environmental management tool for promoting local development and combating deforestation in the Pará Amazon. It is an exploratory and ex-post facto research. This study it was based on bibliographic, documental and official data from public agencies, especially environmental agencies. Initially, an investigation it was carried out on the evolution of the CAR since its historical origin, from the perspective of different institutions in the region. In this context, the noticed that the creation of territorial management instruments and environmental management were taking place without planning and without data integration. Subsequently, the correlation between CAR action mechanisms and PRODES/INPE deforestation rates was analyzed for the Pará Amazon, in the period from 2016 to 2020. The comparison of these data was performed using the Pearson correlation coefficient, which measures the degree of linear relationship between two quantitative variables and demonstrates the degree of correlation through values between - 1 and +1. Soon after, the relationship of CAR with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) it was demonstrated. The main conclusion is that deforestation can be easily identified through CAR. However, despite the growing number of CAR adhesions, deforestation rates in Pará's territory continued to grow. It is clear, as a result, that the CAR has not yet found an immediate action tool that can guarantee inspection and due control for forest conservation and effective punishment for those who deforest illegally. Thus, as the final product of the research, a Technical Note was prepared with the intention of informing about the importance of the CAR as an environmental management instrument for local development in the fight against deforestation in the region. This technical document it was used as a guide for the creation of a Digital Technical Note, in the format of a short and easy-to-understand video, something pioneering in academic and professional terms.
