Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A compreensão do sofrimento no escalpelamento: um estudo utilizando o grafismo e o teste das fábulas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-06-29) VALE, Jesiane Calderaro Costa; SOUZA, Airle Miranda de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5311796283730540Studies on scalpel events have been very scant. Very few are to be found in the areas of medicine, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. The existing studies give priority to the physical, organic and corporal aspects of the event. In this paper, we study the scalpel event under the perspective of Psychology; focusing, on the psychological suffering and its expression. For this purpose we have used clinically qualitative methods. We have elected two projective instruments as well: The Fables Test according to Düss, and drawings of the human body. The research took place in the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Foundation in the city of Belém, Pará in Brazil. Two patients, victims of scalpel events, were contacted as participants. The criteria for their selection, was the following: that the event occurred more than six months ago; that they be no longer in the hospital; that they presented physical and psychological conditions to take part; and that their parents authorized their participation in this study. We concluded, that the psychological suffering manifested by the victims, cannot be denied. They suffered a tragedy, but the impact of this scalpel event proved to be an unprecedented experience, unquestionably subjective and markedly singular in nature. In sight of this problem, we verified that it was not only ones body that suffered the pain, but their psychological being as well. We highlight the use of the referred instruments as favorable resources of expressing this pain.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Demandas quando da perda de um ente querido: uma compreensão sobre o pedido de ajuda e o processo de luto(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-06-22) MOURA, Danielle do Socorro Castro; SOUZA, Airle Miranda de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5311796283730540Mourning can be understood as an expected process of adaptation when a significant loss occurs. It consists of an unavoidable and continuous experience, taking into account the diversity of events which impose a cycle of rupture and reconstruction along the existence. However, the mourning of a beloved one has been considered a potential agent to weaken health conditions and quality of life. Due to the importance of the theme, this research aims to understand the demands of individuals who experienced this kind of loss, considering specifically the “request of help” moment. The study, considering a qualitative investigation regarding the method of content analysis, was developed at a public hospital in the city of Belém, State of Pará, at the Psycological Emergence Service. Collaborators were five women who looked for the psychological service from May to August 2008. Collected data was based on interviews structured according to three basic questions: What has leaded you to look for this service? What were you looking for in this psychological support? How was your experience in this psychological atendment? Four categories were also highlighted: 1) Who has arrived? Socioeconomic profile of collaborators; 2) About the dead person and the mourning process; 3) The “request of help” act; 4) The experience of psychological service. Findings have suggested that the initial demand for the service can concentrate “requests of help” and permeate the collaborators personal movement to the attention and care related to their suffering due to the mourning, once it has corresponded to request of shelter; the death certification; the acceptance of the event and the reduction of the sense of responsibility or guilty feeling, within others. It was also highlighted the importance of offering psyciological support to the ones who are experiencing mourning process as a possibility for help in the sense of crying and expressing pain, death fear, as a possible way to face the loss of a beloved one.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desamparo, transferência e hospitalização em Centro de Terapia Intensiva(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-06-26) LEVY, Elizabeth Samuel; MOREIRA, Ana Cleide Guedes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9245673017553186The primary purpose of this dissertation is to investigate the concept of helplessness in the Freudian theory, articulating it with three clinical case studies. The patients were admitted at the Intensive Care Unit (UTI) of the Barros Barreto University Hospital, in the city of Belem - Pará, in the Northern part of Brazil. Transference between patients ant therapist allowed us to identify and work the intense feeling of helplessness when faced with so much suffering during their hospitalization. We believe that, by listening to their suffering, being it spoken by words or by any possible language in face of the reality derived from the actual use of devices and probes we could aid them to symbolize those painful experiences. As far as counter transference is concerned the hospital environment led us to search a broader literature more useful when working in a strictly medical environment. In such cases, we support the idea that, although we are not working in the classical psychoanalytical setting, transference and a good holding and handling of the patients, allow them to act creatively on their internal and external world, and seek to overcome, though never definitively, their helplessness, giving new meanings to their illness, their hospitalization and even in their lives.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Discurso moderno e psiquiatria reformada: considerações sobre um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) QUEBRA, Sâmea Carolina Ferreira; CHAVES, Ernani Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5741253213910825This dissertation aims to discuss the relation between the new madness care and intervention service which is the Center for Psychosocial Care (CAPS), and the psychiatric view that was built throughout the XIX century. The CAPS that is supported by the precepts of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform, purpose to combat the asylum assistance for madness model that last long over the centuries, especially supported by the modern period through the psychiatric discourse that look the madness as the object of its knowledge, transforming it into mental illness. The method of research was participant observation which passed through the direct presence oh the researcher on the study field, describing the elements that define the research object, such as: therapeutic workshops, group and family psychology, hospitality, collective or individual meetings and other activities which are part of the investigated service. It begins with a description of the object CAPS II: Santa Izabel, since its inception in Santa Izabel of Pará, in 2001 to its current settings. Then, the underlying precepts of the Psychiatric Reform ideologically governing this service, placing historical references leading to this reform movement, from Foucault‟s theoretical contributions on the transformation of psychiatric power and madness in disease, as well as other authors who seized of this issue within the Europe, Brazil and Pará were referenced. Psychoanalysis is taken in this dissertation as an opportunity to bet on a possible subject tha can succeed and exist, highlighting the Freud and Lacan‟s contributions about psychoanalytic theory of psychosis. Ends with data collected analysis, joined with bibliographic references, demonstrating that despite the CAPS propose a break with the asylum model established by psychiatric knowledge throughout that century, several actions that are supported on that objective update asylum practices that instead of giving a new place to madness, reissuing the imposed confinement on individuals who experienced this subjective experience. It concludes that the CAPS needs to make problematic and relative the regulated requirements by the Reformation and its law, to guarantee against the medicalization knowledge that is as present as before, and then get reinvent practices, concepts and ways of madness.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma experiência de plantão psicológico no CTI: semera e acolher(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) SOUZA, Bianca Nascimento de; SOUZA, Airle Miranda de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5311796283730540This study evaluates the implementation and development of the Psychological Attendance Emergency Service within an Intensive Care Unit - ICU of an university hospital linked to the public health system, in Belém city (Pará). It was reported an empowering social context which contests the patriarchal rules but also being restrictive about women in privacy considering the socio-economic contingencies; a net of subjective and social factors in which the teenagers pretend to be women (adults), singularly reproducing social speech formed during their lives, sketching autonomy on the heteronomy that constitute them as individuals.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Homens que falam com o corpo: histeria de conversão ou fenômeno psicossomático?(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) PEREIRA, Ana Carla Silva; NICOLAU, Roseane Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0430583046421802This dissertation discusses the subject of the corporal manifestations, mainly the hysterical conversion. The initial proposal is of doing a brief course in the Freudian work and his successors, with intention of delimiting the subject of the hysteria, and to look for the statute of the body in psychoanalysis, as well as, that which affects it. For the psychoanalysis, the body is conceived not only as a biological body, but also as erogenous body, available and inhabited for pulsion. This body, that is rendered to the action of the pulsions, is a plastic body, capable to be for purposes different with relationship to the psychic economy. For this reason, it is necessary to consider that there are double ways of corporal, two clinical slopes: the symptom hysterical conversive and the psychosomatic phenomenon. How to distinguish both? How to know if we are in front of a symptom of hysterical conversion or of a corporal phenomenon of psychosomatic order? To understand that double ways of corporal wins relevance when we needed to lead the treatment. For that, it is necessary to know to distinguish the psychosomatic phenomenon of the corporal manifestations of symptomatic order, in other words, hysterical conversion. Thus, we will try to confront those two corporal affection that, in spite of if they manifest in the body, they obey different logics. This quarrel opens space for the retaken of the pulsion concept, which is the connection point on the two clinical subjects approached. This dissertation makes us to think about the clinic, and about as the individuals they are used of theirs bodies, before a suffering of the order of the unbearable.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) (In)visíveis sequelas: a violência psicológica contra a mulher sob o enfoque gestáltico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010) FERREIRA, Wanderlea Nazaré Bandeira; PIMENTEL, Adelma do Socorro Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4534230240595626The psychological mode is best known for its "invisibility" in public because of, among other factors, occur more frequently in the private area, and also for not leave physical marks. This is a clinical-qualitative research basic existential-phenomenological and hermeneutic-gestalt. The procedures used were project submission to the Ethics Committee of the CCS / UFPA; obtaining authorization Institutional; identify and invite three women to participate in the study, according to the profile of the sample: availability for the survey, aged 25 45 years, which has been or is experiencing psychological violence situation with her husband / partner. Afterwards, they signed the Deed of Consent and conducted semi-directed interviews with open questions (recorded on audio). They were transcribed and analyzed. The research site was the Reference Center Maria do Pará used for the analysis of the collected understanding Ricouer (1975) and the gestalt concept of contact, tasks and contact boundaries, defense mechanisms, self, awareness and creative adjustment . The result points to the unveiling of permeated experienced verbal abuse in the form of humiliation, curses, insults, jealousy, disqualification of his physical appearance, lack of dialogue, social and emotional isolation, fear, suffering, pain, grief, guilt, shame, feelings of hatred, anger, sadness and helplessness in the face of such violence.
