Capoeirando: um processo de criação em dança contemporânea induzido pela ressignificação dos movimentos básicos de Capoeira Regional

This research proposes a process of creating new meaning from the body movements of capoeira regional, through laboratory practices and experimental procedures for the seizure and reframing of basic body movements of capoeira regional bodies of the dancers, systematizing relations between theoretical and practical of dancers, capoeira and dance studio. Thus, the study said the problem on how to develop a creative process in dance from the signification of bodily movements of capoeira regional. The research involved this researcher and two dancers in weekly labs performed in four steps, from april 2010 to november 2011. Data were collected through written testimonials and photographs. The research results point contributions to the systematic process of creation in the field of contemporary dance.

A dança do porta-estandarte corporeidade e construção técnica na cena carnavalesca na cidade de Belém do Pará

This dissertation has the aim of investigating the construction process of the Brazilian carnival standard-bearer’s dance techniques in the carnivalesque scenery of Pará, aside from valorizing this popular culture of samba schools. For so, I use concepts such as corporeity (POLAK, 1997), immanent dance (MENDES, 2010) and corporal technique (MAUSS, 1974), which I call is my Bateria Directors. As I point my methodology Directors Harmony, that guide this dissertation parade. I leave thus rise to a methodological approach inspired etnopesquisa but try not to name it, emphasizing primarily the speech of people who build and relate to the manifestation of this investigation. The research finds that the relationship between corporeality and technique are directly inserted into the body construction of the flagship considering its the social, political and cultural references as to the creation of his dance. In addition, notes that such a construction is given continuously, staff and the community integrated constituent of the samba school that this artist is.

Memórias na pele: um processo de experimentação em dança com idosos remanescentes da Colônia de Hansenianos de Marituba-PA

This research is a study in dance with ederly leprosy patients living in a shelter in the city of Marituba-PA. The investigation has its starting point in the facts recordered in the memory of lived bodily experiences in artistic practices, specifically the carnival in the period in which they resided at the Leprosy Colony. The methodological procedures used here are the etnopesquisa, because the everyday interactions through direct observation and participation, as well as the use of laboratory reserach in movement, as estimulation to recollect and express the artistic experiences lived during the compulsory segregation period. I restrict myself to propose clues for further research in dance, so that the experiments produced in this study may become a scenic product.
