They consist of a sound projector, also known as a "boca-de-ferro", which was connected to one or two turntables. Based in a Communication Science approach, the present work aims to analyze the communicative experience, addressed as an aesthetic experience, present in the intersubjective elements that are shared with during the celebrations of the Super Pop sound system, held in Belém and its metropolitan region. The work was conducted from a phenomenological perspective, through which it seeks to highlight the experience of the researcher’s encounter with the object as a comprehensive and hermeneutic process. The intersubjective materialities are analyzed from the phenomenological approach present in Maffesoli and Schutz’s methodological orientations. In order to do so, I concentrate on the analysis of three events held by Super Pop Live, since, in my view, they contain the elements we observe in the set of such festivals and can thus be understood as syntheses of social forms and experience of the sound system party.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Avaliação do aprendizado musical de crianças com transtorno do espectro do autismo em aulas de percussão(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-23) OLIVEIRA, Glaucia Freire de; FREITAS JÚNIOR, Áureo Déo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9902320223569217It is known that music education makes possible the development of several skills, such as perception, rhythm and improvisation. This work aimed to analyze the musical learning of children with ASD in percussion lessons. To reach the released purpose, there was a theoretical and practical training course for graduate students in order to introduce them to scientific research and to enable them to act as monitors. It was passed on the structure of the intervention and the form of management with children. Participated in this intervention 20 children aged six and nine years and eight with autism and 12 typical (without the disorder). Each parent or guardian signed a free informed consent form, which contained the objectives of this research and filled out the report that outlined the behavioral profile of each child. Data collection was carried out at the School of Music of the Federal University of Pará. Each intervention lasted one hour and took place once a week for three months, with ten musical exercises grounded in the methods of Carl Orff and Zoltán Kodály. In order to evaluate the musical learning of these students, we used the Learning Assessment Scale-Musical Percussion, organized by Oliveira, Pantoja, DeFreitas Jr., Espírito Santo and Nascimento (2011), from the adaptation of Learning Verification Scale Music in Cello Instrument (DeFreitas Jr., 2007), which is composed of instructions and illustrations for better understanding of the evaluator. I propose to focus on the point of inflection that demarcated the significant changes in the marketing and positional meaning of digital stops in the years 2020/2021 , focusing on the emergence and application of emergency public notices and cultural festivals created by the Government of the State of Pará, which were: Lei Aldir Blanc, Te Quieta em Casa and Minha Banda na Cultura . For this, an interview was conducted with the music artist, composer, researcher, music producer and director of the music department of the State Secretariat of Culture of Pará (SECULT) – Allan Carvalho. All of these measures were essential for the survival of many professionals, including not only artists, but also other music professionals, such as roadies, illuminators, sound technicians, DJs, among others. Through the transformations promoted by technological advances, this thesis proposed a new conceptual-analytical model, defined by me as neopersona cybermorphic , used for a better theoretical framework on the phenomenon of the new identity profile that transits in cyberspace, which has affective individuality , virtual nomadism and identity metamorphosis , particularities that support the construction of a mentality that constantly metamorphoses, as a result of technological advances in constant flux, a representative pattern of contemporary societies. It can be inferred that brega, in addition to its grounded conception as a rhythm, also comprises a series of conflicts, social and power relations; opposition to the dominant classes; of adaptations that were made in contrast to the new musical trends that emerged throughout history. In this sense, Wanderley Andrade is the perfect stereotype of this cybermorphic mutation, evidenced throughout his journey as a tacky artist, whether in the eclecticism of his musical repertoire, in his peculiar clothing or in the fusion of local and global aesthetics. This intellectual proposition also intends to launch material that can serve as a bibliographic base for future research that may relate to aspects related to a supposed cybernetic post-modernity. Virtual ethnography was used as a methodological tool, given the difficulty in collecting data in person, as a result of the isolation measures of the pandemic period. The use of new technologies and media, the adaptability of the music market, as well as the analysis of the everyday particularities of a society in transition are themes dear to this study, with ethnomusicology as an elementary key to elucidate the intermedium in which confluences and disruptions occur , among which: music market, glocalization , tribalism, tradition and technology, themes that can , consequently, bring contributions not only to the theoretical field but also to the cultural scope.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Caminho Sonoro: O corpo em escuta performativa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-12-01) AMÉRICO, Waléria.; MANESCHY, Orlando Franco; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6198572031091761; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-8917-1348The Sound Path deals with the relationship between body and landscape, using displacement as a space for artistic creation. Our starting point for this work is the notion of communicative nature (MARTÍN-BARBERO, 2001) and the traits of communication process (FRANÇA. 2001) presented both by the carimbó and the brega. These notions help identify discursive strategies (CERTEAU, 2012) activated in the communication configuration of these music genres (JANOTTI JÚNIOR, 2006), so we are able to discuss meanings on cultural identities (HALL, 2011) based on these strategies. For that purpose, we use a) discourse analysis, and b) iconography and iconology, two research methods from the field of History of Art that provide the tools to work the discursive characteristics of the carimbó and the brega. The communication configuration of both genres is crossed by asymmetric relations of corporative, cultural and political power and foreshadows discursive strategies for the domestication of meanings on identities. These domesticated meanings, in their turn, are preferred in detriment of cultural hybridizations capable to stand as threat to the visibility of artists, producers, businessmen and politicians in a global market used to the consumption of regionalisms (HALL, 2011).Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Cena Fantasma: um olhar sobre a experiência da música popular massiva da Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-03-10) AMADOR, Elielton Alves; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5700042332015787This dissertation analyzes the musical scene of the city of Belém, Pará State, Amazon, Brazil, using the concept from Will Straw (1991). From this starting point the study make a sensitive and discursive approach of this scene, based on the phenomenology of Alfred Schutz (2012) and Michel Maffesoli (2001), considering its intersubjective spectrum between the actors of this phenomenon, its mediators and a "national" audience. Based on authors Jacques Derrida (1994), Fabio Castro (2011 ), Frédéric Martel ( 2012), Renato Ortiz (2006) and Marcel Mauss (2004 ) it analyzes the presence of a nativist phantasmagory that interferes on the sociability and the total economy of territorialized dynamic scene, with reflects on their media projection. Taking also based on the experience of the author and analyses of samples, products and materiality generated at this scene have studied on the period from the late 1960s until the 2000s. Introductorily discusses the phenomenology as a research methodology in the Amazon.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma cena musical neotribal nas noites belenenses: traços multifacetados do mercado artístico(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-06-27) SAGICA, Frank de Lima; CHADA, Sonia Maria Moraes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1004865944722134This ethnographic research proposes the new concept - neotribal music scene, used as analysis system to treat a musical scene in Belém/PA hitherto investigated in academia. He is the author of works for clarinet, piano, soprano, chamber and symphony orchestra. His Chamber Concerto for Clarinet in B-Flat and Orchestra composed in 2008 is the object of study of this research. From a technical point of view, this work presents several twentieth-century techniques to the soloist, such as frullati, glissandi, multiphonics, a well as a dense orchestral writing. The composer was very careful with the changing character and the organization of technical demands on the piece for the soloist and the orchestra. The main goal of this work is to provide an interpretative design for the concerto utilizing the concepts of Robert Morris on contour theory and structural analysis. A survey of bibliographic sources on the composer, his work and related topics was performed, as well as interviews with the composer and other musicians. There are a few researches in that deal with interpretation of Brazilian works for clarinet, thus this work aims to be a reference for the performer interested in such pieces.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O coro cênico da Universidade da Amazônia: experienciando uma identidade a partir de um repertório musical(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-26) BEZERRA, Joelma de Almeida e Silva; CHADA, Sonia Maria Moraes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1004865944722134The main goal of this research was to investigate the experience of building an “identity” from a musical repertoire of the Universidade da Amazônia’s Coro Cênico, which led to the production of the CD series “Trilhas D'Água”, consisting of a musical repertoire retelling the Amazon musical universe in the language of choral singing. The following issues are addressed: how the change in musical repertoire contributed to the construction of the group’s "identity"; the changes observed in the chorists about the thinking, behavior and the generated sound itself; the academic community that mantains it, as well as the cultural context in which this group is inserted. The dissertation is structured in three sections. The first presents a contextualized biography of Coro Cênico da UNAMA; the second describes the group’s teaching and learning process, and the musical practice is analyzed in the third, considering the social sphere in which the group operates. Bibliographical sources about musical change and identity in the light of ethnomusicology are used . Data about choir practice available in blogs and sites were collected. Moreover, "semi-structured" and "episodic" interviews with the academic community, students from the group, rector and dean of the institution, composers and conductor were done, considering the oral history retold by the agents that build and perform musical practice at the university somehow . It starts from the principle that these agents are the people who hold the basis and conceptions of what the musical practice at the University of Amazonia is about.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cotidiano no ensino da música na educação básica: uma revisão do tema em artigos da revista da associação brasileira de educação musical − 1992 a 2014(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-09) ALMEIDA, Shirlene Pereira; VIEIRA, Lia Braga; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8247703330856310ABEM's magazine is a publication of unprecedented articles in musical education, resulting from theoretical researches and critical reflections on pedagogical experiences. Among the topics researched, we can find the everyday music. In this research, I had as general objective to investigate how the students’ extracurricular everyday music has been discussed in articles on musical education in basic education in ABEM’s magazine during the period from 1992 to 2014, as well as the underlying relations with pedagogical trends of school education. It was carried out bibliographical research with the following steps: collection of articles from the ABEM Magazine on students' extracurricular everyday music education in the school of basic education, held on the site of the entity; recognition reading; exploratory reading; reflective reading; and interpretive reading (LIMA & MIOTO, 2007) of the collected articles aiming the selection, critical analysis and cataloguing the articles. The works we found were analyzed in the light of the theoretical foundation of this research, around the themes: quotidian and pedagogical education trends. The research results indicate that in the period from 1992 to 2014 ABEM's magazine has published 25 articles that deal with students' extracurricular everyday music education in the school of basic education. Among other aspects, the articles bring reflections and underlying modes of working the quotidian in music class. Consider the students’ musical experiences of their everyday life in order to be inserted in Basic education. It is not only about listening to their favorite music. The authors conducted their research seeking to understand the musical universe of students and how their informal educational processes occurred. They presented in their discussions the importance of contributing to the expansion of this universe of listening without imposing the classical repertory in superior quality or redeemer towards social integration to a standard established, but in the form of challenge to music educators to create strategies for the production of knowledge through the exercise of exchanging information as a mediator between the knowledge and the student in a horizontal relationship without labelling the repertoire familiar to the students. The pedagogical trends that predominate in the texts underlying manner are those that advocate the consideration of student’s culture, the horizontal relationship between teacher and student, the valuation of the students’ everyday experiences and cognitive development and critical thinking. These premises are in the progressist liberating trend, liberal and libertarian New School critical-historical also known as social critic of the contents.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cravelhas reguladoras: um procedimento psicofísico direcionado à formação do violinista(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-05-19) RABELO, Maria Isabel dos Anjos Veiga; ALENCAR, Cesário Augusto Pimentel de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0024366223698692This research proposes the achievement of methodological processual ways in order to improve the learning, development and practice of the violinist, considering its constant formation and willingness to performative circumstances, when understood by event referent to musical execution towards the spectators. In this musical universe, I try to show the compositional facets of Sebastião Tapajós, which I name as: The Concertist Performer, the Brazilian Composer and the Amazônida. The Amazônida is the place where I seek to highlight aspects of musical creation, performance, use of techniques guitar and style in the artist's work. The authors who helped me in understanding and writing are: Castro (2011), Copland (2011), Ferraz (2007), Ferreira (2016), Freitas, Garcia (2007), Loureiro (2000), Padovani and Ferraz (2011), Ribeiro (2006), Nascimento (2013), Oliveira (2000), Rezende (2007), Salles (2005), Saraiva (2018), Sena (2014), Sebastião Tapajós (2019), Silva and Rolkouski and Thompson (2004). The methodology used in the research was the fieldwork, with meetings and interviews with the artist, musicians, friends, and producers who are, somehow, connected to Sebastião Tapajós and his work; listening to the work, and reading scores of part of this work. Along with the thesis, a YouTube channel was launched with interviews, performances, rehearsals, which took place during the field research, with the composer himself and other artists.
