Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) O corpo velho no retumbão da marujada: des/com/passos antrópicos bragantinos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-12-20) SOUZA, Hildeana Nogueira Dias; ANJOS, Francisco Valdinei dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5035093639365870; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983The present work is the result of a research on the Marujada de Bragança. It is a cultural and religious manifestation, an important part of the Festa de São Benedito. This manifestation awakened in me the desire to research and explore the question of the old body in the dance of the Retumbão da Marujada in Bragança/PA. The study was carried out in the municipality of Bragança, northeast of Pará, with elderly people from the Brotherhood of São Benedito. Data were collected in the midst of the pandemic caused by COVID-19. In December 2020, the first interviews were carried out, the others were carried out during the months of January to June 2021, totaling 12 interviewed subjects, men and women, aged between 60 and 84 years. The research had as a general objective, to investigate the memories that build/support the identities of old people, in the sense of rescuing the memories of their trajectories in Marujada. To achieve this objective, a study with a qualitative approach was carried out. The techniques used were bibliographic survey, direct observation and interviews based on oral history as a data production technique. The relevance of this work is evidenced by the possibility of discussing the aspects of the old body and contributing to the reflection on the importance of memory, as a way of listening to the elderly and, consequently, theoretically contributing to the experience of a better quality of life in old age.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Dos imaginários sobre a iniciação sexual: intersecções de gênero, raça/cor e sexualidade entre jovens de camadas populares em Belém, Pará(Centro Latino-Americano em Sexualidade e Direitos Humanos, 2017-04) REIS, Ramon Pereira dos; SILVA FILHO, Mílton Ribeiro daThis paper proposes an analysis, based on interviews conducted in the project “‘To enter into a world that is not mine’: sexual initiation in interviews with poor young people and middle classes in the city of Belém (Pará), Brazil”. It analyzed the “sexual scripts” of young women and men (heterosexual and homosexual), residing in “central” and “peripheric” areas in Belém, the capital of Pará, Brazil. Our locus of research was the institution Casa do Estudante Universitário do Pará (CEUP), with locations in a middle class/upper middle class neighborhood, and in the Guamá suburb, a “periphery” of Belém. We emphasize the significant role of families of origin in the reproduction of social and sexual conduct, and the different ways interviewees manage sexual initiation according to beliefs and imaginaries situated at the intersection of gender, sexuality and race/color.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Fronteira da cidadania: cartografia da violência na Amazônia brasileira(Universidade Estadual de Campinas, 1997-12-05) BARP, Wilson José; ALMEIDA, Mauro William Barbosa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5681088831196646Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A leitura que liberta à luz da filosofia da libertação na Unidade de Custódia e Reinserção de Castanhal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-08-12) SILVA, Leliane Aguiar da; RAMOS, João Batista Santiago; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8078757512392983The present this study was to analyze the practice of reading aimed at remission of the sentence, under the heading of the New Project the Reading that Liberates, in the Custody and Reinsertion Unit of Castanhal, in the light of the Philosophy of Liberation, proposed by Enrique Dussel, in addition to understand the relationship between reading and freedom in a prison environment. This scope refers to the urgency of humanizing the Brazilian prison system, which instrumentalized reading in spaces of deprivation of liberty as an activity capable of remission of the sentence, engendered by the criminal execution policy in Brazil for social reintegration based on human rights. Of an applied nature, the research was based on a qualitative approach, with the procedural applicability of pedagogical action research - PAPe, as an educational tool that presupposes cooperation between participants and researchers in a continuous exercise between action and investigation, which in its phases was used the didactic sequence, the participant research which generated the production of poetry written by private readers, and the use of questionnaires, having as support for data analysis the theoretical contribution centered on the senses regarding the proposal of the philosophy of liberation, by Enrique Dussel, as a continuum of understandings to liberating education. Thus, it was identified that reading projects in a prison environment, such as NPPL, promote it as a social practice that impacts the lives of readers deprived of liberty, who begin to expand their conceptions of freedom beyond the proposition of reducing the sentence, but which needs to be developed as a complement to educational activities as an effective practice of a human right and not as another mere disciplinary mechanism for the idle time of the PLL, whose philosophical praxis of Liberation as parameters, which in addition to being political, is rather pedagogical.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Memórias e resistências: os marcos sociais da memória de feirantes e moradores do bairro da Terra Firme, em Belém-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-09-11) SILVA, Ana Cláudia dos Santos da; FIGUEIREDO, Silvio José de Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2578700144404800This research presents elements of theoretical-methodological basis for the reflection on the relation between social / individual memory, sociability and belonging in identities on modern cities. The study on the forms of sociability and the construction of social memory analyzes how to build ties of identity and belonging in the neighborhood of Terra Firme, located in Belém do Pará. It is proposed as a cut of the study the public spaces that comprise the fair, the market and the surrounding streets where the daily practices represented by the exchanges, conversations with own language, specific forms of actions and knowledge that characterize the identity of the neighborhood occur. It is understood that these spaces are configured as spaces of memory, interactions and practices related to daily life. The fair and Horto market together with the social struggles are understood as catalysts of the singularities and regularities of the neighborhood, where the scene of daily life presents itself in the diverse forms of socialization, interactions and conflicts. The memory of narratives presents the reports of the social actors of the neighborhood (residents and marketers) showing their biographical path and the forms of belonging and their strategies to strengthen social ties and resistance to the absence of various public policies. As a methodology, oral history was used to collect narratives from the memory of the social actors of the neighborhood (residents and marketers), showing their biographical path and the forms of belonging and their strategies to reinforce social ties and resistance to the absence of different policies public policies. Another methodology used was the street ethnography (ECKERT, 2003), which consists of walking through the streets of the neighborhood aiming at describing the spaces of the street, market and market, as well as observing the social interactions that are established in these spaces. The narratives of the residents express their attachment to the neighborhood, and their spaces of experience and belonging. Their life stories lead them to perceive their reality based on resistance by the daily struggle in search of a better life. From these reports we identified four landmarks of memory that involve the spatial and temporal frames of the neighborhood's fairgrounds and residents. These are: 1) Landscape of past forests and waters; 2) the present of the street and the mud; 3) social movements: the struggles for survival; 4) The Fair and Horto market place of exchanges and conflicts. These milestones have been identified in the sense that they establish a convergent boundary line for the past struggle and resistance in the neighborhood of Terra FirmeDissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Memórias, identidades e a cidade: a trajetória de docentes egressos do Campus Universitário de Abaetetuba – PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-09-19) PINHEIRO, Matheus Furtado; CRUZ, Fernando Manuel Rocha da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3145088339944816; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1254-5601The present research aims to understand the social, identity and educational context of the University Campus of Abaetetuba of the Federal University of Pará. The objects of study of this work are the memories and identities of the professors trained by this Higher Education Institution, who returned to this same campus in the occupation of university professors, and the relationship of these aspects with the city/ municipality of Abaetetuba. In this way, our research is characterized by the qualitative approach and use of semi-structured interviews. In this sense, adheres to the methodology of Oral History allied to inductive and deductive methods. The research corpus consists of five professors egress from the University Campus of Abaetetuba: from Pedagogy, from Language Graduation Courses of Portuguese and Spanish, and two individuals linked to the coordination of this institution, who were interviewed between november 2023 and august 2024. In the present work, we use as theoretical foundation the concepts of Memories, Collective and Individual Memory according to Pollak (1989), Halbwachs (1990) and Le Goff (1994); identities in light of theorists such as Hall (2006, 2014) and Pollak (1992); and Cities, from the perspective of theorists such as Agier (2011), Harvey (2012) and Lefebvre (2013). Thus, we realize that this Educational Institution trains individuals academically and socially and during this process, these subjects learn new knowledge, change their mentalities, discover new skills and break taboos in society. However, there are still many difficulties for the advancement of science in the municipality. The campus needs more technological resources for classrooms, investments in student transportation, research grants and new projects development. In this way, academic education can achieve even better results in the municipality of Abaetetuba.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Movimentos sociais e reivindicações populares em torno das empresas de transformação mineral em Barcarena: um estudo da atuação das associações de moradores e trabalhadores rurais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004-10-25) PALHETA, Rosiane Pinheiro; MATHIS, Armin; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8365078023155571The research talks about the role of the social movements that occurred in the surroundings of the Barcarena industrial complex, after the installation of the companies; Albras, Alunorte and Para Pigmentos, who created the association of residents and rural workers. The objective is to identify the principal emerging and existent movements, analyzing them based on the new social movement theory. Based on a exploratory research, it looks to identify the routs through where are being guided the social movements, which gave origin to the representative institutes in the municipality. The field research was done between 2003 and 2004 together with 15 existing associations from Barcarena which involve 18 rural and urban communities, where questionnaires where implied in order to verify how these communities make their demands and their relationship with the local authorities. Interviews where established with technicians from the companies, the town hall, and with elder citizens. Amongst the analyzed results of data, it can be said that there is a difference between the aspirations of the urban and rural social movements, but principal demands where towards an improvement in the infrastructure, health, education, and agricultural development. An identification of the main social movements in Barcarena was an expected result though out the research, since it cant be affirmed that there exists a social movement in Barcarena that opposes the companies in way as to protest, but the movement does actively exist molding new social movements. It can be concluded that in the daily confrontation between companies and communities, what prevails is the category of popular movement, where these collective demands are directed towards the improvement of life conditions and daily aspects, together with de defense of their own production and reproduction of life.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nem terno nem gravata: as mudanças na identidade pentecostal assembleiana(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008) DELGADO, Jaime Silva; MAUÉS, Raymundo Heraldo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0915136632611666; MENDONÇA, Kátia Marly Leite; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5325063796266136This dissertation has as a purpose to do a study of the contradictions of a pentecostal identity in progress, searching on its origin an identity that was own its on, through an interpretative analyse of its literature and a new language which has changed in the last twenty years. In a context of globalization and environmentalization of conflicts, the territory becomes an object of socio-environmental claim for some of the so-called traditional populations, which enables them to value native knowledge, affirm a political identity, and assure with full legitimacy the control of their collective destiny. At the same time, in the field of the social sciences, the analysis of territory traditionally identified with History and Geography becomes an object of interest to Sociology and Political Sciences as well. That has resulted in a renovation of the territorial issue that serves as the basis for not only the economic, social, and cultural vision of the territory, but also for its political perspective
