Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Programas de intercâmbio/cooperação internacional em lazer no contexto dos grupos de pesquisa nacionais da área(2014-09) MARINHO, Alcyane; SANTOS, Priscila Mari dos; MOLETTA, Andreia Fernanda; BAHIA, Mirleide Chaar; ALVES, CathiaThe intent of this study is to map out and describe exchange programs/international cooperation for leisure developed by Brazilian research groups (GPs). We conducted a descriptive exploratory research with quantitative and qualitative approach. The study included 54 representatives of 211 leisure GP. Nine indicated the development of the aforesaid programs. Collaborative works and exchanges are the most frequent actions in these programs. Despite the regional gap in the distribution of the short-term GPs and in the execution of isolated actions, it is believed that these programs have promising proposals to the leisure, bringing about new investigations.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Burnout e Coping em Atletas de Voleibol: uma análise longitudinal(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08) PIRES, Daniel Alvarez; BARA FILHO, Maurício Gattás; DEBIEN, Paula Barreiros; COIMBRA, Danilo Reis; UGRINOWITSCH, HerbertIntroduction: In the context of sports, one of the main recommendations for a better understanding of burnout syndrome and coping is to carry out longitudinal studies that describe the process of development of the syndrome, and the strategies used for its prevention and control. Objectives: To analyze perceptions of the dimensions of burnout and coping strategies during a sporting season, and to correlate the temporal characteristics of burnout and coping strategies. Methods: Through a longitudinal design, the study included 15 male volleyball professional athletes (aged 24.00 ± 3.55 years) participating in the Superliga Nacional (Brazilian Volleyball Super League). Each participant completed the translated versions of the Athlete Burnout Questionnaire and Athletic Coping Skills Inventory. Data were collected in four stages of a sporting season. The behavior of the burnout and coping indicators were verified by the Friedman test, with the Wilcoxon post hoc test, and Spearman’s correlation coefficient (rho) was used to verify the correlations between the burnout and coping indicators. Results: A significant increase was observed in sport devaluation and overall levels of burnout as the season progressed, but there were no significant differences in the use of coping strategies at all four times. Significant inverse correlations were observed between the dimension burnout, reduced sense of sport accomplishment, and the coping strategy, confidence/motivation at all four times of the season. Conclusion: The results show an increase in the perception of burnout in the athletes with the build-up of training and competition, as well as the requirement for optimal performance in the main competition. The study also showed the importance of the motivational factor in the emergence of burnout.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Body composition and motor performance in wheelchair handball(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-04) BORGES, Mariane; COSTA E SILVA, Anselmo de Athayde; FARIA, Fernando Rosch de; GODOY, Priscila Samora; MELO, Ellen Rodrigues Barbosa; CALEGARI, Décio RobertoThe aim of this study was to verify the relationship between body composition and motor performance in Wheelchair Handball players (WH). Overall, 21 athletes composed the sample (13 males and 8 females). To analyze motor performance, the following tests were used: ball driving, block performance, 20 m velocity and zigzag agility for individuals on wheelchair. Body mass, height, body perimeter and skinfold thickness (tricipital, subescapular, bicipital and supra-iliac) were used to establish body composition profile. Data was presented through descriptive statistics and inference was performed by Spearmans’ and Kruskal-Wallis correlation coefficient (non-parametric). Therefore, strong and significant correlations between body composition and motor performance were detected within different functional class and also according to sex, whereas male athletes showed significant correlation between body fat percentage and agility (r=0.70, p≤0.01) and, in the case of female athletes, body fat percentage is strongly related with speed (r=0.81, p≤0.01) and agility (r=0.74, p≤0.05). As conclusion, it was verified that apparently, increased body fat in body composition profile negatively influences motor performance in wheelchair handball players
