Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Archival literacy: estreitando as relações entre a competência em informação e a Arquivologia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-05-30) SANTOS, Felipe César Almeida dos; FURTADO, Renata Lira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9936991322389586; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5428-2451Archival Literacy, translated in this research as Competência Arquivística, is considered in the current international academic-scientific scenario as an aspect of Information Literacy. This research aims to propose a concept for the term Archival Literacy adequate to the Brazilian archival scenario. To achieve this goal, the research proposes to systematize the themes related to Archival Literacy, to investigate the bibliographic production on the subject in order to identify the characteristics and perspectives of Archival Literacy and, finally, to propose a concept for the term Archival Literacy. For the operationalization of the objectives presented, it was opted to carry out different methodological procedures to reach them: the Bibliographical Survey, the Systematic Bibliographical Review and the Grounded Theory. The data collection procedures of the Systematic Bibliographic Review occurred in the period from October 2020 to April 2022, in the Periodical Portal of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Level Personnel, in the Library & Information Science Abstracts, in the Web of Science and in the Knowledge Library Online. This phase was divided into three stages with distinct objectives: 1. Understand the essence of Archival Literacy using the search string "Archival Literacy"; 2. Understand the fields of knowledge that compose Archival Literacy using the strings: Domain Knowledge, Artifactual Literacy and Archival Intelligence; 3. know the national debates around Archival Literacy using the expression itself (in Portuguese) and possible variations. From the analysis of the data obtained in the Systematic Bibliographic Review in combination with the Grounded Theory it is presented the proposition of a concept for the main theme of this research. Thus, exposing that the relationship between Information Literacy and Archival Science is characterized as a fertile field for the development of new research. Finally, this study identifies the existence of application contexts that modify the development of Archival Competence according to their singularities and that, for a better understanding of these contexts, it is necessary to study the informational practices of each possible subject inserted in the contextsDissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Constituição da memória institucional sobre sustentabilidade ambiental divulgada no âmbito da Universidade Federal do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-01-31) SILVA, Carla Patrícia Lima; ALMEIDA, Aline Christian Pimentel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1388841813412015; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7421-5632; CONDURÚ, Marise Teles Condurú; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6085807397296909; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4545-4199The Institutional Memory is constituted from the process of choice and selection of what was and is relevant to the history of an Institution, in this scenario the News Portal of the Federal University of Pará and the Institution's Academic Units is studied to identify this relationship . This research has as its guiding problem: How does the information on environmental sustainability disseminated within the scope of the Federal University of Pará constitute its Institutional Memory? To answer this question, the general objective is to analyze the dissemination of technical-scientific production on environmental sustainability generated within the scope of the Federal University of Pará for the constitution of Institutional Memory. As for the research methods and techniques, a single case study was carried out for data collection, and Content Analysis for the analysis of the data obtained. According to the cut delimited by the research, five sources of evidence were analyzed: Institutional Documents of the Federal University of Pará and the Institutional Communication Office; Analysis, based on data mining, of the pages of the News Portal of the Federal University of Pará and the websites of the Academic Units; Questionnaire answered by the administrators of these pages; Interview with the Director of the Communication Office of the University and Survey of Technical-scientific Production on the subject in the Institutional Repository of Theses and Dissertations of the Federal University of Pará. As a result, it was identified that the disclosures made through the Portal and the websites of the Academic Units are recognized by the University's management as an instrument in achieving the Institution's strategic management. There is dissemination of information on environmental sustainability on the University's websites, however the theme can be worked on further. The Communication Office recognizes the relevance of the theme and has been developing strategies for greater dissemination. As for the constitution of the Institutional Memory, although there is recognition that the Portal is a form of Constitution of the Institutional Memory of the Federal University of Pará, there is still no concern in the sense of structuring and maintaining it from this perspective, with the need to instrumentalize such a need. It was concluded that the University News Portal and the websites of the Academic Units can be considered as instruments in the constitution of the Institutional Memory of the Federal University of Pará, although currently they are not treated nor prepared to act in this way, however, they can become institutionalized places of memory.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Ecossistema da desinformação e a sua relação com a informação arquivística(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-01-19) MOURA, Ana Roberta Pinheiro; FURTADO, Renata Lira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9936991322389586; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5428-2451As a starting point, studies inherent to the Information Ecosystem are presented, attributed to the idea of organizing informational spaces, arranged in a digital environment present today, where development and use have advanced and the dissemination of false and dubious information has been gaining space, raising questions about the reliability and authenticity of the information that is being accessed and disseminated by society. Given this scenario, it is possible to identify the installation of the Disinformation Ecosystem linked to a chain of informational phenomena linked to disinformation, intensified in economic, political, cultural and health contexts, requiring knowledge, skills and attitudes of the subjects involved in this scenario. In this perspective, the following question arises: “what is the relationship between the Disinformation Ecosystem and Archival Information and what are the contributions of the triad Information Literacy, Media Literacy and Critical Information Literacy in this scenario?”. The overall objective is to relate the structure and characteristics of the Disinformation Ecosystem with Archival Information in the post-custodial current, linked to studies of Information Literacy, Media Literacy and Critical Information Literacy. The general objective is subsidized by three specific objectives: a) theoretically systematizing the main themes listed in the research; b) investigate in contemporary national and international literature the relationships between the themes: Information Ecosystem, Disinformation Ecosystem and Archival Information; c) develop a conceptual representation highlighting the possible relationships between the Disinformation Ecosystem and Archival Information, pointing out how the triad Information Literacy, Media Literacy and Critical Information Literacy can help in this context. As a methodology, a bibliographic survey was carried out, followed by the application of a Systematic Bibliographic Review. The collected data is processed by Wordart software, presented in a cloud of words and analyzed through Content Analysis. The results of this research point to the incidence of four points that onverse between the Ecosystem of Disinformation and Archival Information, emphasizing the contributions of the triad of competences, for subjects involved in the Ecosystem of Disinformation, for Archivists and users of Archival Information, evidencing a discussion between social justice, science and archival practice. Concluding with Insights for further research. BE) playing an important social, educational, informative, and cultural role, until the end of the 20th century, the theme did not receive due scientific recognition in Brazil. From the beginning of the 21st century, the discussion of the theme was endorsed, mainly, by the legislative debate that resulted in Law 12.244/2010 on the universalization of the school library in the country and caused an impact on technical and scientific communication on the subject, generating numerous studies on the production of this theme, which served as a reference for this work, compiled through narrative review (ABREU; GONÇALVES, 1998; CAMPELLO, 2003; CAMPELLO et al., 2007; CAMPELLO et al., 2013; LEMOS, 2015; SILVA, 2015 ; SILVA; VENTORIM, 2016; PASQUIM, 2016; GASQUE; CASARIN, 2016; OLIVEIRA; CAMPELLO, 2016; SILVA; OLIVEIRA, 2017; RITA; BLATTMANN, 2018; OLIVEIRA, 2019; OLIVEIRA, 2019; ROCHA; SANTO, 2019). This research seeks to analyze the Brazilian scientific production on BE in postgraduate studies in Information Science (IC). The study's overarching goal is to examine works defended between 2011 and 2020 with the central axis of investigation being BE in Graduate Programs in CI (PPGCIs). With the specific objectives of: discussing the context of research on BE in Librarianship and CI and reviews of scientific production on the subject in the area; describing the academic work on BE of PPGCIs in the last decade; and identifying, through content analysis (BARDIN, 2010), the thematic categories of the selected works. Therefore, a literature review was carried out with a systematic search in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of CAPES to present the report of the characteristics of the collected works, followed by the identification of 14 research themes on BE in the selected studies, compared with the thematic categories from the literature review (CAMPELLO et al., 2013; SILVA, 2015 and LEMOS, 2015). The results point to a low representativeness of BE in PPGCIs research in the last decade (2.94%) and reveal new research themes in postgraduate studies on BEs: information mediation, accessibility, management, information organization, and studies of historical aspects of the school library, in addition to those already known in previous studies. In general, the most discussed categories among the selected studies (Competence in Information, Reading, and the educational function of the BE) reinforce the primary function of the BE of contributing to the formation of students through the processes of reading development and search skills, as well as access and use of information for citizen information literacy.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Gestão da informação arquivística: uma proposta de framework acerca dos procedimentos e habilidades(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-05-25) SILVA, Lucas Thery Monte Verde; FURTADO, Renata Lira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9936991322389586; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5428-2451From the emergence of discussions about Archival Information as an object of study of post-custodial Archival Science, the literature begins signaling the concept of Archival Information Management, however, regarding the processes that compose it, they have not yet been discussed and presented. Those already consolidated comprise the Records Management processes, that is, linked to the Records. In this scenario, using interdisciplinarity, it was intended to seek possible solutions to this problem in Information Science, analyzing the relationship between Information Management with its object, the Information, of Records Management with the Records, for then provide the steps to be followed for the “concretion” of Archival Information Management, aiming at the treatment, control, and access for society. Thus, this study seeks to answer two questions: how does develop an Archival Information Management? What skills will the archivist need to develop this management? The General Objective is to present a framework with the essential components to the Archival Information Management process and the skills that the archivist must and should act in this scenario. From this, bibliographic research was carried out to map the following themes: Information, Information Management, Records, Records Management, Archival Information and Archival Information Management. After the provision of the theoretical assumptions, Grounded Theory was applied, being used to analyze, and compare the points in common, allowing the elaboration of a theory from the data that explain the phenomenon/problem addressed in the research. Finally, equipped with the comparison data and elements predisposed to the embodiment of Archival Information Management, a framework is presented containing dimensions, specific activities, professional and informational skills for the archivist to perform out the treatment of Archival InformationDissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mediação da informação para público com deficiência: em foco a biblioteca da Escola de Aplicação da Universidade Federal do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-05-30) COSTA, Ana Cristina de Almeida; CHALUB, Tânia; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6737749200665570The mediation of information can be seen as a guarantee of accessibility, especially in the context of Inclusive Education, creating possibilities for special education students to acquire information skills for reading, researching and using information technology. It is important to know the difficulties and potential of these users in order to offer products and services to mediate information, helping the school to promote Inclusive Education. The present research has as general objective to analyze the information mediation practices for students with disabilities in the School of Application of the Federal University of Pará (EAUFPA) library. The research universe was composed by the school library of the School of Application of the Federal University of Pará. The research has a descriptive character and is classified as a Case Study focusing on the inclusive practices of the EAUFPA library. A Case Study was carried out with the field diary as an instrument for recording the data collected in the institutional documents and in the activities with professional servants who work at EAUFPA. An analysis of documents of the practice in the referred field in the last ten (10) years was carried out. At the end of the collection, the data obtained were organized in a qualitative way, through content analysis. At the end of the study, it was possible to observe that the EA library has been developing some inclusive practices and has been concerned with improving the mediation of information for the public with disabilities, with the guidelines of the Inclusive Education Coordination. However, it still needs to go a long way to reach accessibility, mainly instrumental. The study thus brings information and thougths that can help in the realization of projects that include all students of that school, regardless of conditions, characteristics and possibilities.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Produtividade científica do Instituto Evandro Chagas contribuição para a saúde pública amazônica (2000-2020)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-05-27) SILVA NETA, Clarice Pereira Barros da; PINHEIRO, Lena Vania Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9613980184982976; BENCHIMOL, Alegria; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9550647395377220; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0920-992XInstituto Evandro Chagas (IEC) located in the city of Belém in the state of Pará is an institution that develops research in the areas of Biological Sciences with a focusing on surveillance and public health in the Amazon. Facing the lack of studies shows the contribution of research to public health of the North region and Brazil, this research has the aim of analyze the scientific production of the Instituto Evandro Chagas, materialized in the scientific articles of the communities Arbovirology and Hemorrhagic Fever - Saarb, Parasitology - Sapar and Virology - Savir, from 2000 to 2020, available at Patuá Digital Repository. In order to reach its objective, this research used a descriptive and bibliographic approach of a quantitative and qualitative method and adopted as evaluation the metric studies on information under informetrics and data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System – SINAN. A total of 627 articles referring to Saarb, Sapar and Savir were collected in the Patuá Digital Repository and analyzed using production and collaboration indicators. Data showed that the academic profile is composed of 28,1 of researchers with degree in Biological Sciences and that 95.3% and 85.9% have master's and doctorate degrees. About interinstitutional collaboration, the sections maintain several national and international institutions connection that develop research on the themes identified in the surveys, which are connected with the epidemiological surveillance actions of SUS, referring to the notification of diseases and public health problems. The study demonstrated the importance of the research conducted for public health and highlighted the importance of Instituto Evandro Chagas as a relevant research center for the northern region and for Brazil which has contributed to Amazonian public health by allowing knowledge of the nosology of diseases and improvement in health surveillance actions for the population of the Amazon region and Brazil.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Saúde coletica e COVID-19: o aporte da comunidade científica brasileira no enfrentamento da pandemia.(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-05-31) MATEUS, Isabella Maria Almeida; BERRÍO-ZAPATA, Cristian; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0976534900847907; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7314-6487The rapid spread of COVID-19 around the world has caused the number of research related to the disease to also increase at a rapid pace, setting up an unprecedented scientific race. The Brazilian Collective Health scientific community was also involved in this movement. To visualize Brazil's contribution in this field, this work seeks to analyze the profile and contribution of the Brazilian Collective Health scientific production in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a bibliographic study, which used domain analysis as a method and applied bibliometric and altmetric instruments, as well as content analysis. Scientific production was measured using indicators of productivity, impact, and visibility. For these purposes, articles on Collective Health and COVID-19 were searched in the Web of Science, Scopus, SciELO, and PubMed Central databases, with Brazil as the country of affiliation of one or more authors, and the publication period delimited from Jan./2020 to Dec./2021. As a result, 735 articles were selected and received 7,027 citations. The Southeast Region showed the highest number of publications (51.56%), and the University of São Paulo was the most productive institution (6.88% of articles). The area managed to articulate with researchers from 827 institutions in 71 countries. The most productive author published 18 papers. Only 25.44% of the articles mentioned a source of funding. The 100 most cited articles had 47,982 interactions on social media platforms, the majority from Twitter (54.76%) by members of the general public (92.69%). The article with the highest rate of attention on social media ranked 82nd in the most cited ranking. A total of 14 subjects were identified. “Health care in the pandemic” showed the majority of articles. However, “Epidemiology and health surveillance in the pandemic context” was the most relevant topic for the scientific community and the one that aroused greater interest in the general public. We concluded that the articles analyzed in this study reflect the Brazilian scientific production and were considered relevant, as they were cited by other authors in their studies and also attracted the attention of the lay public. Two waves of scientific production were observed, possibly following the pace of activity of Brazilian universities and institutes. Due to the low number of articles generated by the North Region, the formation of an academic staff of Collective Health in this region was seen as necessary. An article was used as an example to demonstrate that a high number of citations or mentions in social networks does not always correspond to quality. Although science is not completely impartial and depoliticized, it has mechanisms of self-criticism and self-refutation, thus showing its value. The interaction between what science produces and what is disseminated on social networks needs more attention and better regulations in order to avoid that the information generated in this area ends up being distorted. Finally, new studies are proposed to understand why some subjects attract greater interest from the lay public, but not so much from the scientific community.
