Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Economia dos produtos florestais não-madeireiros no Estado do Amapá: sustentabilidade e desenvolvimento endógeno(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-06-02) CARVALHO, Antonio Claudio Almeida de; COSTA, Francisco de Assis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1820238947667908The extractivism of native products, based on the sustainable explotation of non-timber forest products (NTFPs), is for sure one of the most consistent ecological alternatives, with respect to the conservation of the biodiversity and natural Amazonian forest cover. There is no doubts that there are systemic problems that represent barriers for the satisfactory development of this segment. The overflow production multiplier effect of the sectors in the extractivists supply chain of the Amazon is a preponderant variable that contributes for the low level of social and economical development of this region. Therefore, is imperative the theoretical analysis about the possibilities of development based in modern bases of that new capitalism that has been trying to perfect the economical mechanisms for the global sustainability. The Amap´a is the most preserved State Brazilian (97% of original forest) and 72% of its territory are areas legally protected. This work tries to identify contribution level that non-timber forest products, extracted from forest dwellers, has in the economy of State Amapá. The central method of analysis used in this work came from the model of matrix input-output, developed by Wassily Leontief. This analytical procedure has relevant prominence as practical instrument of analysis and economical planning. Besides of the analyses of programming of the sectorial economical growth, it is adapted to estimate by the multipliers effect, the impacts of the economical growth on the production, job and sectorial income of all economy. This main object of study are the analyses of the local productive arrangements of the non-timber forest products in the State of Amap´a, at both regional and local levels. The method developed by the Francisco de Assis Costa (Alpha Social Accounts - CS_) was used for construction of the matrix input-output, with base of progressive analytical procedures and through continuous aggregation of local data. The sector of the extractivism of non-timber forest products in the state of Amapá, with a GDP (Growth Domestic Product) of R$ 204 millionin in 2009, that represent 3,07% of total of GDP of the state of Amapá that is apparently small. Therefore, thit value is extremely significant when is analyzed the total GDP of the state of Amapá (R$ 6,65 billion) and that only 13,24% refers to the Productive Sector, while 86,77% refers for the Tertiary Sector.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trajetórias tecnológicas e sistemas agrários: qualificação territorial utilizando geoprocessamento em Paragominas e Santarém/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-05-16) TANCREDI, Nicola Saverio Holanda; COSTA, Francisco de Assis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1820238947667908The Amazon has been observed mainly through the deforestation phenomenon, using traditional resources from remote sensing as quantification of deforested area and its subsequent annual increasing, which sounds to be an effective methodology. Confirming this argument, I noted in a survey with 16.591 environmental fees applied by IBAMA/PA in the period 2000 to 2008, that more than 85,0% were related with biodiversity (flora), and specifically in the year of 2008 at the jurisdiction of IBAMA Santarém (west of Pará), almost 60% of fees had linkage with deforestation, identified by remote sensing. Analysis using only satellite images are not enough to identify elements of surface, with a poor contribution to the understanding and intervention of reality. It were interviewed and vectorized479 rural properties in the region of Paragominas and Santarém, state of Pará, which have historical land usedistinguished, qualifying them by technological trajectories in the Costa`s sense, correcting distortions of economic development, aggregating information at remote sensing data.It was applied geotechnologic resources of landscape metrics and were built a cell database integrated with statistics and algorithms of probabilistic optimization, associating classification non supervised isodata (validated with kappa index = 0,87, considered “excellent”) with production types collected in the field, generating an integrated classification (kappa index = 0,78, considered "very good"). In Paragominas were qualified 3 different types of technological trajectories, trajectory peasant.T8 (dominated by temporary culture), peasant.T3 and employer.T4 (specialized in beef cattle). In the region of Santarém, appeared trajectory peasant.T2 (high presence of permanent and temporary culture and agro forestry systems) and employer.T7 (mutation of T4, enhancing the participation of temporary cultures). The methodology was considered successful, spatializing rural properties by technological trajectories and generating land use classes more adequated, as temporary culture and pasture, but in the isodata classification was only “agropecuary”, resulting a more realistic viewof production activities developed in the investigated area, materializing the generation of spatial information by integrating data from different sources and increasing the capability of pixel analysis.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Zoneamentos agroecológicos e seus reflexos no desenvolvimento da produção agrícola familiar municipal no estado do Pará: a questão da seguridade alimentar da população local(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-12-23) NASCIMENTO JÚNIOR, João de Deus Barbosa; HURTIENNE, Thomas Peter; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7133222063843073The Amazonian area represents a group of conflicts of interests now that they present as central axes to the ecological subject and the need of guaranteeing the survival of the local population. The present work discusses the efficiency, efficacy and effectiveness of part of the Zonings Ecological-Economics accomplished by the Brazilian Company of Agricultural Research - EMBRAPA, through his Unit Decentralized in Pará, Center of Research Agro-forest of the Amazonian Oriental Embrapa Amazônia Oriental, in the annuals from 1975, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004, when he assisted to dozens of requests, on the part of municipal managers of the State of Pará, with respect to the reflexes of his use or disuse, as planning instrument for the endogenous development of those municipal districts, mainly to those tied the warranty of the alimentary sureness of the population in them residents, of products as: Rice (Oriza sativa) and Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), produced by small family producers, that according to Costa (1973), it is treated of the group formed by those farmers that use earth modules of up to two hundred hectares, and, that ninety five percent of the busy labor with the agricultural activities, is family. In that research, they will be appraised the ecologicaleconomical zonings of the municipal districts, belonging the small area of Paragominas: Abel Figueirêdo, Rondon do Pará, Paragominas and Bom Jesus do Tocantins. Of beforehand, knows - if what only the ZEE, no they render in totum, a panacea (remedy for everyone the evils), but treated - if from a tool potent about to delineate the use of the territory & from earth & she'd help quite when used about to definition from the area potentially promising about to production of foods basic.
